Fantastic stay in stunning location.

We had a wonderful family stay in the Blue House. Property was exactly as described. Spotlessly clean, well-equipped with everything we needed. Our two young girls loved the house, the pool and the surrounding. Valentina was a fantastic host, making sure we had everything and gave us lots of local recommendations. Beautiful, calm surroundings with stunning views. Perfect for anyone wishing to get away from city life and enjoy the natural beauty of the Italian hills.

Great views

Wonderful views, great hikes out the door. Wonderful host. Never got to use the pool due to temperature outside but would be wonderful to use in warmer temperatures. The outdoor space was great for an afternoon lunch.

Lovely holiday house in a beautiful location

We spent a week in this lovely little house and it exceeded our expectations! Our communication with the properly owner Valentina was excellent and she was very helpful and accommodating from booking, throughout our stay and when we left. The location is just lovely with beautiful views. Would definitely recommend!

Entspannter Urlaub 2022

Die Unterkunft überzeugt mit schöner Fernsicht auf den Gardasee. Das Appartment ist gut ausgestattet. Einzig eine Klimaanlage für die sehr heißen Tage wäre wünschenswert. Zur Abkühlung steht ein großer Gemeischaftspool zur Verfügung, der auch in der Hauptsaison nicht überlaufen war. Toller Urlaub!

Schönes Haus in toller Lage

Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus in einer sehr schönen, gepflegten Anlage. Wunderschöner Pool, sehr ruhig. Und ein einfach grandioser Blick von der Terasse auf die Bucht von Salo. Sehr netter Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin: sehr hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub hier - ein echter Glückstreffer!

Good location for all preferring a bit of distance to the busy lakeside villages

Flat in a former monastery with nice view on the (distant) southern part of Lake Garda (note - by Lake Garda standards with its spectacular sights, the view is just 'nice' where elsewhere it would be 'great') from the balcony and the pool terrace. Children will enjoy the 'splash type' pool (not very large and deep but good fun anyway), grown-ups the terrace shaded by old trees. Spacious living / dining area (note: without view due to the authentic architecture with only two narrow terrace doors/windows to the balcony and thick walls), solidly equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, rather plain main bedroom with double bed. Second bedroom for up to three children in single / bunk beds however without additional room. Note - not suitable for younger children if they need to be watched (floor level window without grid, free access to pool, low-level wall which children can climb on). Access via a typical Italian hillside road and very narrow gate - we managed to just pass it with a Ford Galaxy / VW Sharan class van, but quite a bit of driving experience required. Main bedroom wardrobe suffers from humidity issues typical for old buildings but was manageable (summer visit with windows opened). The location is a bit remote from the busy lakeside (takes you around 10-15min to get to the next supermarket, restaurant) which can be an advantage - if you hear any traffic, that is very much remote, rather you hear the birds in the morning, and after a 5mins walk you are in the nearby forest. In all - not at the high end but solid value for money.

Lovely location, but expensive for what it is.

Lovely location and host was very welcoming. However bathrooms were both pretty poor and there isn’t much seating for any more than 4 guests. Would have been nice to have a better welcome pack than just a bottle of water and a bottle of wine. No air conditioning but host did supply two fans when we asked, but we had to assemble them ourselves. Had some leaking in the property during a heavy rainstorm too that the owner dismissed. Awful WiFi, owner stated they will upgrade next year but didn’t console me for this year. Nice pool and good location for exploring Salo and surrounding area.

ruhige, am Hang gelegene und gepflegte Ferienanlage

Die private Ferienanlage ist sehr schön gestaltet mit einem großen und sauberen Pool. Sie liegt ungefähr auf halber Höhe eines Berges inmitten von anderen privaten Anwesen. Dadurch ist es ruhig, kein Touristenrummel. Der Gardasee ist jedoch etwas entfernt. Er ist von weitem zu sehen, aber ohne Auto nicht erreichbar. Alle Aktivitäten sind nur mit dem Auto möglich, da auf der sehr schmalen serpentinenähnlichen Straße kein Spaziergang oder Wanderung möglich sind. Das Haus ist für eine Familie mit drei oder auch vier Kindern ausreichend groß und prima geeignet. Die einzelnen Etagen bieten auch Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Das zweite Bad im Souterrain ist sehr winzig, auch etwas renovierungsbedürftig, aber es gibt somit eine zweite Toilette. Ein erholsamer Urlaub ist garantiert. Wir hatten das Glück, dass in einer Woche unseres Urlaubs lediglich ein weiteres Haus bewohnt war, so dass wir allein in dem schönen Pool waren. Absolut toll! Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist ausreichend. Kaffeemaschine oder Toaster gibt es leider nicht. Aber vierflammiger Herd, Ofen, Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle sind vorhanden. Die Vermieterin Valentina war immer zur Stelle, wenn wir etwas brauchten und hat sich sogar um einen deutschsprachigen Arzt gekümmert. Es hat uns sehr gefallen, vor allem unseren Wasserratten.

Ruhig, Entspannt & Idyllisch

Wir (4 Erwachsene und ein Kind) hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub im blauen Haus. Das Ferienhaus ist mit einer modernen Küche ausgestattet. Zwei Schlafzimmer sind im unteren Geschoss und somit angenehm Kühl im Sommer. Der Pool war stets sauber und das Gelände ist für Fremde nicht zugänglich. Der wunderschöne Ort Salò ist in 10 Min. mit dem Auto zu erreichen (Parkplatzempfehlung am Markt). Auch der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war persönlich und unkompliziert. Wir kommen wieder! Vielen Dank Valentina und Roberto!

Gepflegte Anlage mit zwei kleinen Mängel

Das Haus liegt über der Bucht von Salo. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber und für Familien mit Kindern ideal. Wir waren zwei Familien mit drei Kindern. Es war unter dem Dach eine Zimmer für die Kinder und im Erd-/Kellergeschoss zwei Zimmer für die Eltern. Mittendrin war die Wohnküche mit einem Bad. Unten im Erdgeschoß war das zweite Bad, eine Waschmaschine und auch ein Kinderbett für Kleinkinder. Die Kinder können sich frei bewegen, der Pool ist von jedem Haus nur 10 m entfernt und vom Balkon der Wohnung aus einsehbar. Das Gelände können die Kinder nicht verlassen. Somit kann man als Eltern die Kinder einfach mal alleine zum Pool lassen, sehr entspannend. Das Haus war sauber, mit ausreichend Handtüchern ausgestattet. Es hat einen schönen Balkon mit Seeblick. Supermärkte sind in 4 km Entfernung, Salo ca. 7 km oder 15 Minuten. Die kleinen Mängel waren zum einen die Liegen, die schon etwas gebraucht waren und daher z.B. der Schattenspender für das Gesicht nicht gehalten hat. Es fehlt auch ein Sonnenschirm, da es am Pool kaum Schatten gibt. WLAN / Internet funktionierte nur sporadisch, in der Wohnung so gut wie gar nicht, gelegentlich auf dem Balkon, am Besten am Pool. Daher auch nur 4 statt 5 Sterne. Insgesamt ist es aber empfehlenswert und sehr schön und wenn man vom WLAN absieht sind es 5 Sterne.

Einen sehr schöne Woche.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön gepflegt und ruhig. Die Nachbarn sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine sehr schöne Wohnung um den Gardasee zu entdecken. Die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig und das untere Bad sehr eng, aber das macht der super Ausblick auf den See wieder weg. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und schnell zu erreichen bei Fragen. Zusätzliche Schwimmhilfen für unseren Kleinen haben sie auch gestellt. Es war eine schöne Zeit. Wir kommen sicher wieder.
