"Pascal communicated well and the entire process was pretty slick. The villa itself is brilliant with loads of space and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Also easy driving distance to plenty of great places in the surrounding area, including the wine farm that produced Whispering Angel Rose (only 14 minutes drive).The only thing we found would have made the stay even better would be if the property had aircon, which was really missed in the heat. It was the only downside to the stay and something I would have been prepared to pay more for. I cannot fault Pascal for that though as we knew it going in, which is why I still give this 5-stars regardless. Something to look out for if your weather forecast is high heat though, which was apparently unusual for the area to be fair.Overall, highly recommend! "

"Our stay at the villa in Villecroze went perfectly. Communication with Carmelita went very well, the house is very pleasant and well equipped, although a little old, it could do with some renovations but that didn't stop us from having a very pleasant stay. The pool and garden are superb, perfect for relaxing, you are very peaceful but you have everything you need just a 10-minute drive away. The region is beautiful and there are plenty of things to do and see."

"Recently stayed at the Bastide of Villecroze and had the most wonderful, relaxing time. Phillipe’s place is so beautiful - photos do not do it justice. Phillipe was welcoming, great with communication and very helpful. The villa was very well kept, the gardens were stunning and the town of Villecroze just a short walk away is gorgeous. We would love to come back again one day "

"We on purpose booked this hotel as they were offering double beds. We requested one room with a double bed while booking on Expedia. When we checked in no room were available with a double beds! That’s quite a shame it felt very uncomfortable to have to share a bed with someone you’re not really acquainted with. Very disappointed."

"Warning at the end! This was a lovely hotel in the heart of a charming town. The front desk person was an angel and the manager was great. Our room was spacious, compared to others we stayed in during this trip. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked fine. Very nice breakfast. The hotel only had 10 parking spaces and they were all occupied. Fortunately I was able to park on the street across from the hotel because it was a Saturday night and the parking ban there was not enforced that late or in the morning. Moral of the story: Get there as early as possible so you can grab a space. However, the garage is tight so try on-street parking if your vehicle is big."
