「This is a rambling, welcoming old building that is perfect for a family stay. Check-in is smooth, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc, wi fi was good. I must say it is not what I would call an easy walk from the ferry, so older people, little kids, and people with heavier luggage should be aware of this. Otherwise the house is really convenient to the stores and restaurants of Vinalhaven and have a great view of the water. The dining area is a real plus! There is also a downstairs...

「The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!」

「Property is beautiful, great location and easy access to the ocean. Only issue we had was there was a lot of dog hair on the bed and floor in one of the bedrooms. Otherwise everything was perfect!」

Anything you could ever need was there. Terra was the best host, it felt like you were working with a friend. She went above and beyond making sure all our needs were met. 「We had a lovely stay at the Loon Cottage. Beautiful, picturesque view of the pond. Quiet, peaceful. 」

「Exceptional place to stay. The property managers were pleasant, prompt, and the attention to detail was amazing. I highly suggest this place for it’s gorgeous views, cleanliness, and everything about it!! The town of Rockland was also exceedingly pleasant!」

Located a couple minutes from downtown Rockland, Owls Head Transportation just down the street along with the State Park. Wedding venue was 3 miles away in South Thomaston. It was exactly as described, comfy, cozy and allowed pets. Fenced in yard for the dog was a huge plus. Hosts were great. Would definitely stay here again!」

「Clean, comfortable, even"extra" bonuses not in description like an adjustable bed and a queen-sized air mattress with bedding. Well equipped. Very close to Drift In Beach parking. The house is on a curve and you need to take caution pulling out though it is doable--if the neighbor on the Tenant's Harbor side would trim back bushes, it would no longer be an issue. Quiet, relaxed and convenient location.」
