“Free Parking is actually street parking, although there were adequate spots it was not something provided by the hotel. Got into our room and first thing my wife said was the a/c unit was extremely noisy that would make it hard to sleep. I spoke to the hotel representative (only one on site) and she put us in another room and the a/c unit in that one was fine. Several booking sites, including Hotel DeFuniak's own webpage indicates there is a free breakfast with the room. In fairness the hotel……

“If you're looking for the perfect place to stay, this definitely isn't it. Although the staff seem friendly, they aren't. I was questioned by the breakfast prep guy about my stay right after checking out, c'mon man. And then after I checked out, they wouldn't give me a guest receipt. Other than this, there was some trash in my room & hairs in my bed. Did they even change the wrinkled sheets or was I sleeping on someone else's DNA?
If you're not picky, then this place will suffice but it was……
