We learned that we had been expected to bring our own linen, and we would [will?] be charged a cleaning fee if the room is not clean enough. Massive space for cost. This is an event cluster of apartments, and the management is not quite set up for smooth per diem rentals. All things considered, a pleasant stay and we navigated the lack of short term rental support."

"Quirky building hidden amongst others. Beautiful old staircase and lovely open air terrace, which was wonderful to sit in the sun with a beer. Nice clean room. Downside was having to use WhatsApp as a key to get into the building and the room. Clever but as traveling we didn't have WiFi or mobile data and so was forced to use our mobiles abroad and at a cost. Would have preferred a key. The breakfast included was extremely poor, some stale bread and butter and a couple of burnt croissants. Find...

"I loved my stay here, it was exactly what I needed. The space was cozy and the garden was absolutely wonderful to spend time in. My hosts were communicative and so, so nice! My only note is that I was very excited about the rope hammock featured in the photos, but unfortunately it was no longer there when I arrived. But otherwise, great spot to enjoy Tours from, and all of France, or to get away and have some time to yourself. If coming in summer, be prepared for bugs and heat! "

"The apartment is helpfully located near Tours city centre and is about a 25-minute walk from the station. It is very basic, but is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a stay: the excellent shower is definitely a highlight. The spiral staircase up the first floor is very steep and tight, so do bear that in mind. Finally, be warned that there are no fans (let alone air conditioning) in the apartment, so it is stiflingly hot in the heat. I appreciate this is not the host's fault,...

Besonders die zwei Außenterassen haben uns gefallen und ermöglichten den Essplatz auszuwählen.Den sehr schönen Whirlpool haben wir wegen der Hitze nicht genutzt.Der Schlafplatz auf der Empore ist gegenüber dem Wohnraum sehr warm gewesen. "Quiet and well appointed resort like setting. Very friendly and accommodating service. It is away from main/tourist area so those wanting a nice and quiet place to retreat to at the end of the night will appreciate this place. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the tram stop, which is about a 5. Minute tram ride to main tourist area. Breakfast and dinner was great and the spa amenities was just as nice. Would return again."

"A very pleasant, modern hotel well situated about half way between the Cathedral and the Old Town. Also right next to tram stop from where you can get trams to Tours Centre railway station. Very helpful staff (they had to fix our sink at one point and this was done very quickly). Breakfast could be a little chaotic with items running out and very few staff about."
