Stunning home with sea views

'Spy The Sea' sits above Polzeath, in a cul-de-sac, away from the crowds but only 250m walk down a private road to the beach and local amenities.
The whole property has just been completely renovated to a very high standard and now offers highly comfortable accommodation with outstanding views of the beach from the main living room and front terrace. To rear of the property there is a gravelled terrace and a small lawn as well as a large raised deck with gorgeous views over open rolling countryside.
Internally the house has a kitchen diner, a large living room, 4 double bedrooms, 2 of which are ensuite and a further family bathroom.
There is also a hot external 'surf shower' at the rear of the property to help keep the sand on the outside!!
In addition, there is a large Summer Shack on the decking at the rear of the garden which houses 2 large sofabeds, a further wc and basin. This can be used as an additional sleeping space or simply as an extra living area.
Parking for 3 -4 cars on the driveway as well as on street parking.

Our stay

Very well styled accommodation. Layout of bedrooms, en suites and family bathroom suited us well. Location great, easy walking distance from the beach and shops in Polzeath. A couple of issues on arrival which were sorted quickly by the owner. Views of the sea from the lounge and upper garden good.

A great few days in Polzeath

We had a great stay at Spy the Sea. There was a mess up at the start of the holiday but Keri dealt with it brilliantly and got everything sorted out. We really enjoyed the house, access to the beach and coast.

Spy the Sea is a must if you love holidays in Polzeath

We loved our 2 week stay at Spy The Sea. Proximity to Polzeath beach and the town’s amenities made swimming and shopping an easy and short walk. The house is all on one level with excellent wheel chair access and the rooms all a good size and nicely furnished.

Very well decorated and equiped. Close to the beach albeit a steepish walk back from the beach to the property. The dinining room table in the kitchen is tight if you have 8 or more adult sized guests. However, plenty of room outside if the weather is good. It was not clear from the photo, but the lounge is at the front of the property and has see views so we could check out the size of the surf before we went down. We love Polzeath and would highly recommend the location.

Wonderful Weekend in Spy the Sea

We were very impressed with the standard of accommodation, and found the location worked very well for our party. As previous guests have commented the kitchen and dining area is compact but for our party of 6 adults it was perfect. We had great weather so utilised both outdoor spaces to maximise the sun! The bedrooms and bathrooms are really nice. It is worth noting that the property is a 10-15 minute walk up a steep hill from the beach and restaurants. All in all we had a lovely weekend and will definitely be going back.

A good experience but disappointed with the some areas - shingle outside of back - size of living accommodation - but plus was bedrooms anc bathrooms - very well decorated and parking - water systems excellent for showers - but couldn’t get bathroom radiator to work. Well stocked kitchen with all utensils coffee machine etc

Most cozy and stylish atmosphere in this beautiful house

What a wonderful place to stay in Polzeath. The house is very spacious and beautiful decorated. As soon as you enter it you feel perfectly at home. Newest standards in heating technic, bathrooms and security. The house is located on top of the hill in Polzeath and offers the perfect sunset view from its own private terrace. Everything was perfectly organized for our stay and contact with Keri was great. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back soon.

Fabulous luxury house. Great garden. Great garden shack for kids and generally very well kitted out and lovely fixtures and fittings. Great beds. Great showers. However, totally insufficient eating space for 11 people. Kitchen and table way too small and a half dishwasher inadequate. The hot water also was not sufficient for more than 2-3 showers in a row which is tricky after a day’s surfing! Great service from property manger and owner when any requests made. A lovely stay . Would stay again, but with less people .,

Family Getaway

Great house for a family gathering. Very comfy beds and sitting room is large with big comfy sofas. Dining area is small and won't sit everyone but we got round this by using the table in the front garden. The beach is a 5 min walk down the hill but coming back with surfboards etc isn't easy so we ended up using the car to ferry kit back at the end of the day. Keri, the owner, was great to deal with.
