Experience Koa Dream at Waikoloa Villas, an idyllic retreat a few miles from Kona airport and some of the best swimming/snorkeling beaches on the Big Island. Located on the western slope of Mauna Kea, this cozy ground-floor condo looks out over a golf course with the ocean in the distance. While only a half-hour drive from the tourist mecca of Kailua-Kona, Waikoloa Villas seems a world away. At Koa Dream, you can relax and drink in the refreshing ocean breezes, occasional birdsong, and natural beauty of Hawaii.

Koa Dream offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for families or couples. An open floor plan allows you to dine inside or outside on a large lanai surrounded by tropical foliage. The full kitchen is well-stocked, and gas grills are available for outdoor barbecuing.
Waikoloa Villas is a unique complex combining resort luxury with a residential feel. On-site amenities include two pools and hot tub. Guests staying at Koa Dream also have access to an Olympic-size pool in town and can receive a discount on greens fees at the Waikoloa golf course. Nearby stores and restaurants offer convenience. Best of all, you are located just a 15-minute drive away from world-class beaches, with easy access to explore the rest of this beautiful island.

Waikoloa
Waikoloa is a village located about 25 miles north of Keahole-Kona Airport, and about 8 miles above Waikoloa Beach Resort/beach. Waikoloa offers majestic views of the Kohala Coast and five nearby volcanoes: Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, Kohala, Hualālai, and Haleakalā on Maui. This area is known for its warm weather, tropical breezes, and stunning sunsets. The community offers shopping, restaurants, pool, and golf.

The unit was spacious and quiet and we were very comfortable there. There were a few essential kitchen items missing, like a toaster, can opener, and a corkscrew, but once we shared that information with the host, she quickly hand delivered the items to us. Just steps from the pool and right on the golf course so we were entertained. Within walking distance to grocery store. Met lots of nice year round residents as well as visitors from our state of Alaska.

Drinks on the Lanai

What a wonderful place to stay! My brother is building a house less than a mile from the property, which was so convenient! The place was so comfortable, clean, well stocked, and perfect for my sister and me. We had breakfast each morning on the lanai (sometimes visited by a family of turkeys), and wine on the lanai in the evenings. In between we snorkeled, shopped, visited, and relaxed! Stay a week

This was a nice play to stay for a week. I attended a conference and it was a peaceful place to say for the period. The view is nice especially for the sunsets. The place may need a bit updating though it was clean and in good condition. You felt moving to 90's. The bathrooms were updated and nice. Would recommend if people want to have long stay in a peaceful place and want to play golf. The shores take about 20 minute drive.

Family Get-Away

The property for our stay was absolutely wonderful! Our unit was on the ground floor at the end of the property. Very comfortable and quiet with the lanai overlooking the golf course and the ocean. It has a well-stocked kitchen with appliances and utensils. Great handicapped bathrooms for my 94-year-old mom! She was comfortable and truly enjoyed the view, especially the grand turkeys that marched in front of the lanai! Thank you for a memorable vacation! I would rent this condo again!

Quiet place for a scavenger hunt

We stayed at Waikoloa Village to participate in an Ironman. The quiet atmosphere was appreciated. However, the welcome book had only the bylaws of the condo association, no details of the pool location or access, no WIFI code. We reported the lack of WIFI and were told to look again! Finally once I was angry the agent relented to give us the code in a text. As for the pool facilities we did not bother calling. On day three we saw an employee who helped us out.

Family trip for Spring break

Overall this property is great, especially the particular location of this unit- quick walk to the pool (outdoor bbqs and a fridge are there), as well as a beautiful view of the golf course. This ground floor unit is great for small children, they would run around the golf course during sunset and loved watching for the wild turkeys and goats. The location means you have to drive a lot (beaches, ice cream etc) but it is certainly a beautiful spot. The unit is well stocked with everything you need. We really appreciated having sand toys and chairs so we didn’t need to buy these items when we arrived. Only complaint is that there was no pack and play, and the cost to rent was quite high (I could have bought a new one for the cost of 9 days).

Perfect Sunset Views

We enjoyed our stay very much. A very quiet condo, with wonderful views from the lani of evening sunsets. Condo was very clean, with an updated kitchen which was very well stocked. The king size bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. There was a constant gentle breeze that kept the condo from being to hot, along with the ceiling fans in each room. The outdoor pool just a few steps away. The grocery store was within a short walking distance with very friendly staff.

.Very pleasant ground floor unit on the golf course and near the pool. Well maintained and fairly clean. Bdrm windows needed cleaning to see out. Couldn't figure how to use the TV; mgr had to come in and show us. Other than that, well equipped and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Best sunsets ever!

Place is as advertised and shown on photos. Property manager thought we were arriving later so place wasn’t quite ready when we checked in (no window coverings in one bed room and TV was not working). This was no big deal and property manager (who is great and very responsive) took care of it right away (TV next day). Great location off #9 fairway (par 5) - close enough to walk from clubhouse which I did couple of times. Great ocean view from balcony and we were treated to amazing sunsets every night. Quiet and perfect place for us. Only complaint was on our second to last day they had exterminator spray for bugs (monthly service?) - that was a little annoying since we didn’t want exposure to those chemicals. But place is nice and property manager is very nice, responsive and helpful.
