「We had a beautiful weekend at the Hope and Glory Inn! The owners, the staff and every small detail were perfect. We felt so well-taken care of and would gladly return for another visit. It was a perfect way to start our vacation! Romantic and relaxing. Just what we needed. Thank you!」

「Quite a few of the family members were in their 70s and 80s. No way the cottages could sleep 6. One family member was 5 years old and is autistic. He was able to go down the water slide Twice and then was told he could not go on the water side again. The people 'in charge' did not understand what autism is. 」

「Location is perfect for families with small children — beach access is a few feet away and the bay water is shallow/calm. Property is well-kept and has everything you could need. Loved our stay and will definitely be back.」

「We came to the area for our granddaughter’s graduation and it was only minutes from the high school. It was in close proximity to quite a few good restaurants and downtown Mathews! The host was quick to reply to any questions or comments that we had. If the opportunity presented itself, we would definitely stay here again!」

「We loved our stay at Fred’s property. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate enough for us to enjoy the water, but the views and cozy cottage provided a relaxing time away nonetheless. Location was great — off the beaten path but still a quick drive to town.」

「I was surprised to hear all my family thought it was one our best vacations and were all delighted to hear that I booked it for next year. All were very active throughout the week, and all seemed to enjoy the activities and each other's company. Our only complaint was that the ice maker was not very productive, and the kitchen door was difficult to lock and unlock. I tried to tighten the lock but did not have the proper tools with me. We are already looking forward to our stay at Pop Castle...

「First off, I would like to say that the description is not accurate online. When I got there, the doors were unlocked and the keys were sitting on the counter. The heat didn't work, there was no internet or cell service at all, and the windows had signs that said "do not open, windows broke." The house is very tiny and does not comfortably sleep two grown adults. Unfortunately I will not be staying again.」
