Come enjoy the fall colors!

  • We charge an additional guest fee- the base price is for the first two guests There is a $15/guest/night for additional guests.
    We also charge a property fee of $25. This is to help cover the cost of utilities for large groups.
    The Powell Farm Rental House is located in the Smoky Mountains on a farm that has been producing agriculturally since 1879. With a beautiful mountain view and a very relaxed and secluded location, you are sure to enjoy your getaway in the Smoky Mountains. The house is only 15-20 minutes away from Townsend, TN and an easy 30-45 minutes away from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

    There are 5 bedrooms-a master that has a queen size bed and bath and three other rooms that all have queen sized beds. There is also a queen pull out couch located in the living room and a double bed and single day bed in the bedroom downstairs. The sun room has a large dining table with chairs and a sectional sofa and a loveseat that make for a great TV room and has amazing mountain views. From the sunroom is access to the private 18'x36' pool. Enjoy early morning quiet and coffee and evening meals at the 2 tables with umbrellas. Our home has wireless internet. We have smart TVs but no cable.

Smokys Getaway

This is our second time staying here. Perfect location between Townsend, Maryville and the Tail of the Dragon. The pool and views make this house. Amy is a great host and we’ll definitely be back.

Smoky Mtn Wedding trip

We had such a nice stay with our extended family at this property. And the views are spectacular! We had plenty of room to spread out, but also had a large gathering area for all to visit, eat and play games together. Kitchen was well equipped for use.

There was enough room for us all (7 people; 5 adults) to sprawl out and feel comfortable. Host was very friendly and attentive. Very comfortable arrangement that we didn't take full advantage of because we traveled to the surrounding areas every day. Pool was closed for winter, but we enjoyed the deck anyways. Very clean and well-stocked with basic amenities (towels, soap, shampoo, etc.)

A little slice of paradise

Eight of us plus an infant thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Powell farm! It was a perfect location and the house was great for our family needs. We swam in the pool every day! The house was spotless and the property was very well maintained. We will definitely stay here when we come back to Tennessee!

We are so happy with everything about this property. Amy is an amazing host. The overall customer service and communication was excellent. We traveled with children ages 6-16, total of 10. The home was very spacious, clean and perfect for a much needed family getaway.

Our family enjoyed a family reunion in Powell Farm on West Miller’s Cove. The home was clean and well stocked with supplies. Our 5.5 yr old Granddaughter loved having a swimming pool in the backyard. Loved it!

Beautiful home close to Foothills Pkwy

We enjoyed our weekend riding the beautiful roads, The house was in the perfect location for our Ride along The Tail of the Dragon and had wonderful space for our group to spread out or enjoy meals together. Thank you for having us!!

Excellent

This property was beautiful. Very good location and not far from town. We were in for a race at Maryville and this was a perfect area. Very quiet and the scenery was beautiful. Saw a few bear walking the fence line. Amy was great to work with, she even allowed us to check in early. I would definitely recommend this beautiful home.

Excellent Stay!

We really enjoyed staying at his property. Communication with the host was excellent. The house is just as pictured in the photos, and I think the surrounding property/grounds is even better within the photos. If you're flying into Knoxville airport, it's in a perfect location, about 23 minutes from the airport, and just a few minutes from the Smokies (maybe 15 mins). The host, Amy, is super friendly and gracious.

Beautiful sprawling home with fantastic pool and view!

We stayed here for my daughters wedding which was at Sampsons Hollow! The house has so much space for all of the wedding stuff, and plenty of room for visiting :-) The kitchen was well stocked as well. It was great to have the basement fridge for leftovers! We absolutely loved the pool! Perfect for relaxing and cooling off 😅 The host was very communicative as well, I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful place!

The home is beautiful! There is plenty of space for a big group of people. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, kitchen ware, all that you need to cook a meal! All that I would say is that an extra bathroom in the basement & maybe a little electric fireplace in the sunroom would make it perfect but other than that, I have zero complaints.
