「A relaxing and peaceful place to stop for the night, arrived in clouds and rain which then cleared to beautiful snow-covered mountains. Jessica, the host, communicated well with check-in instructions. The quaint and cute unit was very clean and well-supplied. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighboring area is very quiet. 」

「Recently built on the second floor of a downtown building there are several units and a conference area associated with this property. Walked around the corner to a great dinner at the Plaza Hotel, no problem finding street parking. Unit was very clean and quiet. When we had problems with the thermostat the owner immediately sent over the handyman who fixed it promptly. If trains bother you consider earplugs if they enchant you the BN runs through town and can be heard at night.」

「Our family gathered at the ranch for a few days of connection and rest. The property is amazing-expansive and beautiful. The ranch house, bunk house and tiny house were extremely clean and comfortable. The Kenneys have been good stewards of their land. Their love for the ranching way of life is evident in every detail. 「The home was very clean and comfortable. It has very nice amenities. The view of the mountains & location was what we pay to see! The morning we left it snowed 8-10 inches & there wasn’t any electricity. The housekeeper was quick to get in touch with us to offer assistance. That was much appreciated but we didn’t need it.」

「This is the perfect little cabin for two or a small family. Lots of fun activities provided (games, firepit, movies) and great seating areas out back near the rushing Colorado creek. Comfortable bedroom and bathroom and a well stocked kitchen. Hosts were easy to reach with questions and quick to respond. Will definitely stay here again!」

「We travel to Rye a couple of times per year to visit family and since there’s no room for us with family we need a place close by to stay. This met all of our needs. It’s comfortable, well stocked and has a fenced yard for our little dogs. It’s close to our family but there’s also plenty to do and see while you’re there. We drove to Westcliiffe and saw the beautiful fourteeners mountain range and ate lunch at Chappy’s Bar and Grill. We highly recommend it for the beautiful scenery and good food!...

「This is the second time we have stayed here and once again, it was great. This property very well appointed and well maintained. It is a short walk to Main St. La Veta, which is very nice. Sitting on the deck in the afternoon, with the sun and the Cuchara River is very relaxing. It is a great choice!」

「We had such a nice time staying at this cabin. There are a couple well maintained hiking trails around the property. The scenery while hiking the trails, and the view of the Spanish peaks from the cabin were beautiful! It's obvious that a lot of love has gone into the upkeep of this property. We couldn't recommend it more!」

「We spent our time at Cuchara Park and this home was the perfect location for us. The Host goes above and beyond here. I highly recommend this place - I will still hear next time we come through La Veta. The house has everything you need! Perfect for a man like me who loves chopping wood and having fires. The inside had a big kitchen for the wives. The rooms have tons of board games for the kids. You will love this place; I know we did.」

「This makes the third time we have stayed here since last August…and we already have a month long stay booked for this Fall. We’ve fallen in love with this property and it never disappoints. The scenery is beautiful, the cabin is fantastic, and Ray (the owner) is incredibly responsive and helpful. Definitely our favorite place to stay and well worth the trip from Texas!」
