This 'resort' is of motel standard, not a resort. The complex is quite far from the lake front, you have to walk through local residential area before reaching the lake, it would be difficult to walk back to the 'resort' from town after dark. Most of the rooms' balconies are facing another room / building, not much of a view. The room is clean, decent sized, no air con but with good heater. Overall, the standard is a well managed street-side motel.

I am sorry some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations, many of our guests enjoy the walk or short bike ride along the lake front to town. We have some great Resort facilities including a heated pool, hot pool, slide, sauna, gym and bike hire available to our valued guests. 房間整潔乾淨，重點是如果要爬羅伊峰，住這裡就對了，離登山步道口很近，節省時間，美中不足的地方是住宿WIFI還要錢，有點瞎。

建議不要客房打掃服務，我們疑似在這邊遺漏了一包全新香菸以及衣服被穿過（有異味） 這邊環境跟房間整潔都是很不錯的，我想這次的事件是打掃人員個人行為

总体很不错。热情，舒适，房间足够大，且很漂亮。浴室极其好，水大，有浴缸，用品齐全。服务很好，有热水池，健身房和桑拿。 不足：没有免费WiFi，外面热水池温度不够热，下雨泡了5分钟我就去蒸桑拿了。

Loved our stay in Wanaka. The Wyndham was a great location, easy walk to the lake with option to check out bikes to use as well. Our room was spacious, clean, and renovated. The whole property was lovely and renovated. Hot tub and free laundry were great additions after our 10 mile Roy’s Peak hike. Would definitely recommend to others and we will be back!

Units are very large and are newly and very well renovated. Beds are super comfy and kitchen is well equipped. laundry is free and easy to use. Parking can get a little hectic but there’s street parking if it’s really busy. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Overall we liked this property and would consider staying again. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a mile walk to the shopping area that is relatively flat and an easy walk along the lake. We were able to rent/hire bikes at a very reasonably cost from the front desk. The area around the property is beautiful. The Wyndham resort is small but has everything you need to be comfortable. My only suggestion is smoking should only be allowed in areas away from other guest rooms and common areas.

Very large and clean rooms. There was no AC and the unit got hot in the summer, but they are working on installing ACs in all units… about a 15min walk for DT Wānaka. Overall, very good stay.

O hotel é incrível. As acomodações são enormes, muito confortáveis, com todas as condições e utensílios de casa. Tudo muito limpo, organizado, arrumado. Localização perfeita. Estacionamento fácil e prático. Um lugar de paz e sossego. Um charme a decoração interna do hotel e das acomodações. Eu penso que é o melhor lugar para ficar em wanaka. Perto de tudo. Wyndham sadly have adopted the very virtuous 'environmental ' PC nonsense as an excuse for zero housekeeping,clean towels or even replenishing teabags. I go on holiday to have a break from the drudgery of washing cleaning etc. so having to ask for dry towels ( 2 towels and a near useless heated towel rail ) daily makes a mockery of making your wet towel last all week as being a pleasant stay. I could have done that in a cheap backpackers or a camper van but I chose not to do that to get a rest from everyday chores. Very disappointing and nonsensical especially as the shower flooded every day and we had to use all the towels to mop up and by the time we left after 5 days there was a big pile of wet soggy towels. Lazy excuses in the name of being green pointless.
