Secluded but...

While this property is exactly what you want for a secluded space, the critters in the house leave a lot to be desired and outweigh the good. Attacked by wasps no more than 5 minutes in the house. Mice running through the kitchen, poop everywhere. The kitchen also isn’t equipped as told. The water smells awful, a quick 5 minute shower made the whole house smell for the day. So much sulfur. The grill is hidden in the shed and dirty. I was told to contact the local property manager and never heard anything back. All in all, the price I paid for this cabin was not worth it.

Wonderful weekend getaway

This was the perfect getaway for a girls weekend trip. There were 9 of us total and we had plenty of room with the use of both the treehouse and the house on the property. Both houses were well stocked with the essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, coffee filters, towels, blankets, and pillows). The beds in the main bedrooms were really comfortable and were of hotel quality. The treehouse was beautiful and updated. Hot tub was clean and well maintained. There’s a lot of outdoor lighting to make walking back and forth between houses and the fire pit safely. The house, however, could use some updating and paint to freshen it up. The furniture in the kitchen and living room needs replaced. We had to sit on the floor to eat our meals because the couch was broken and the kitchen chairs were unsteady. We did all of our cooking in the house and really needed more utensils and pots/pans. The grill was in desperate need of a cleaning which may have contributed to only 2/4 sections igniting. When we arrived, the grass hadn’t been mowed which meant we were walking in high, wet grass all weekend. The property was wonderful to hike. I did reach out to the host with suggestions and much needed improvements and repairs. Overall we were happy with our stay at this beautiful location. Host was very responsive to our questions/concerns.

Great Property. Nice view from front deck.

Nice relaxing week-end. I would recommend a vehicle with higher clearance for the access road. We had a Ford F-150, so we were fine. A passenger car with low clearance may have issues getting down the road.
