"traditional pub with very friendly staff and good quality food. the flat is above the pub but has its own entrance. You can hear people downstairs but this didn't disturb us. We ate both evening we were there and it was excellent and very good value. The flat is in the oldest part of the pub and as such the door frames are low but the ceilings are fine. There was everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Very good value for 2 couples."

Unfortunately the weather didn't want to play along so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful garden as much as I had hoped, but that was no loss - the cottage is adorable inside too and it's perfect for cozy cocooning when it's rainy. "Absolute find. Free tea and coffee. Comfy beds. Great fun experience for an 11 year old on the eve of an early start holiday and was cheaper than a cab and avoided quite such an early start.
