“Wonderful comfortable place with the best view in the valley. All the amenities you need for great vacation. ”

“We've stayed multiple times in this property and it's always been great. Beautiful house, landscape, and of course the views. The house is always very clean and well maintained. We look forward to our next stay here.”

“This home was just what we needed to rest our heads while on a long road trip with the family.”

“Great location. Clean but homey. Secluded.”

“Stunning fall foliage views! Beautiful and comfortable accommodations!”

“This mountain retreat is stunning from the views to the amenities, with an enormous kitchen, well stocked with just about any cooking utensil/dish you could imagine. It is private, with spacious sleeping quarters and absolutely stunning views! The hot tub was amazing! This place accommodated my extended family with room for more! We made homemade pizzas in the pizza oven which was both hilarious and delicious! Our hosts were super helpful. I had a bunch of questions before booking and they were……

“We spent the night in Mad River Valley at the 1830 House for a weekend event. The house was clean and cosy and it accommodated all of us. The Wifi worked well and we loved the privacy each of us had in our own rooms. We also appreciated the kitchen (there are two, if you book the whole house - one up and one down!). It was close to our venue, the Mad River Barn, too. The only downside (minor) was the steep stairwell to the second floor. There was no railing to guide guests. My 84-year-old mom……

“The property was very generously provisioned, pet friendly, clean and comfortable.”

“The house had plenty of light, both from windows and fixtures, and a beautiful, peaceful location. Appreciated the tasteful decor and thoughtful choice in dinnerware and appliances. Also appreciated the selection of fragrance-free, natural soaps, shampoo/conditioner, cleaning supplies, etc. We can't wait to come back.”

“Clean house, beds fantastic. Great kitchen...Very good host..Parking was a challenge if you have more than 2 cars...But nota negative.”

“I would recommend the apartment to anyone needing a place to stay in the area. We needed to be close to the airport and it was only a 20 minute easy drive. The property is clean, comfortable and well stocked. Management was easy to contact and check in and check out was simple.”

“The maple castle was awesome! Definitely the most unique house I have ever stayed in. You can sit in the hot tub and watch the river or you can walk down a tiny hill to tie up a tube and float in it. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend. ”

“The rental experience was seemless....communication was great, the property fit our family so easily and the location was easily accessible to many beautiful spots. The home is well equipped and it was a delightful stay!”

“We were 8 people coming to VT to watch our girls play lacrosse at Middlebury. The house is as pictured and perfect for large groups. We really had a great time, it was spacious and perfect for hanging out with a large group. We wished the weather was better so we could use the fire pit. The owner of the property was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. We would all definitely stay here again and recommend a stay at this house. Some of us even said it would be perfect for a small……

“We spent two weeks at this beautiful property. Highlights included beautiful views and sunsets, comfortable mattresses, a large kitchen, efficient office with a large screen and power connections, and a thoughtful host. Marian makes the comfort of her guests a priority. She asked for suggestions about things this new rental still needed, and I gave her ideas. Packages showed up three times while we there! Property manager Jake delivered them to us. It’s obvious that this is a property that is……
