A Fabulous place to stay.....

Excellent hosts, friendly & welcoming. The room was superb, spotlessly clean & fresh milk & bottled water was provided in a fridge, a welcome addition, other hotels please note! Lovely quiet setting in it's own grounds, if you are looking for a peaceful retreat this ticks all the boxes. We will be going back asap, so would highly recommend to anyone!

Austons Down was a gorgeous B&B. Lucy and her husband were very accommodating, they recommended some places for us to visit and made us feel welcome in their home. The room was clean and breakfast was delicious!

Fantastic host, brilliant breakfast. Nothing too much trouble, even let children feed the lambs. Room comfortable and clean. Would recommend.

Highly recommend.

I had a very warm and comfortable night here. Plenty of wardrobe space and the iron and ironing board were a plus. Only tiny fault was that it would be good to descale the kettle.

They state they are a B&B and not a hotel. However, excellent place and setting better than most hotels I have been at. Owners are really welcoming and makes you settle in and relax.

One of the best B&Bs I have been to

My second stay at what is one of the best B&Bs I have been to. Very friendly owners, great location (if you like the peace and quiet of the countryside - but not too far from civilization), great room and bathroom (I had the 'superior' room). I hope to be back again and again.
