This stately 3000 sq ft home is perfect for a large group or family. Located on a tree lined avenue, steps from Washburn's Main Street and Lake Superior. Enjoy Bayfield County, which has year round appeal for the outdoor adventurist, or stay in and relax by the fire. House has high ceilings, original wood floors and trim. Built in 1912 by a prominent lumber baron, the home has been well cared for and updated with a newly remodeled kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. House is situated on a double lot with a two stall garage. Fenced in backyard has a deck, grill, fire pit and volleyball net. Your well behaved dog is welcome for a $60 fee. Neighborhood playground, tennis and pickleball courts just blocks away. In summer, visit the Farmer's Market and enjoy Music In The Park on Wednesdays. The house is elegant enough for a romantic weekend, yet still comfortable and inviting for families and outdoor sports enthusiasts. Washburn was recently named one of the best places for biking in the country! Bring your bike, or rent one at Washburn Hardware and Sports. Washburn Marina is .5 miles away and is a certified Clean Marina.
