Beautiful home, wonderful location

Walking distance to metro and the wharf. We enjoyed making breakfast and dinner at home and finding great restaurants for lunch! We traveled back and forth to DC each day of our stay.

Wonderful girls weekend!

We had the best time at Vat’s place! It was exactly as promised and so close to the heart of Old Town— just over a block to King Street. Every need was anticipated and the house was comfortable and cozy! Highly recommend and hope to be back! Also, be sure to check out La Pluma, which just opened on the corner. Amazing! Enjoy!

This is, hands-down, the absolute best experience I have ever had at a vacation stay. Our stay was awesome. Convenient to Airport, DC, & Arlington Cemetery. Also, a cute coffeehouse (soon wine) had just opened up across the street. Very good coffee & breakfast items. King street was very entertaining. We spent cocktail hours & dinners there. Our Host, Vat, was amazing. The house is adorable. Perfect for our family of four. And the parking was most convenient with its own private driveway.

A perfect place in Old Town

This is the second time we have stayed in this lovely home. The host is wonderful to work with and answers our questions immediately. The home is a blend of history and ultra modern. The parking in the rear is so appreciated. It is so near all the Old Town spots. We love this place!

Fabulous place near DC

We had a great stay at this property. We have stayed in many VRBOs over the last several years and this one is easily in the top 3. There was plenty of space in this home and it had everything we needed. The location was great for touring around Alexandria and it was a short walk to the Metro to spend time in DC. We packed a lot of things into a week, but we'd definitely come back here again in the future.

Great location and home away from home.

We had a wonderful time at Vat's place. The house had a great A/C for the warm days and the location was near the free bus, restaurants and King Street to get on the Metro everyday. Great location to get to DC and back to explore the museums and sites with our children. Also the owner was very responsive, and above and beyond helpful. Thank you for our stay, I would definitely recommend this place!

Great time in Old Town

This was our first time in Old Town and boy did this home set the bar high! This property was clean and spacious; better than the online pictures. The location is pretty close to D.C. and Georgetown, but there’s a lot to do right there. Plenty of great local restaurants and retail shopping. Vat was absolutely wonderful - kind, informative and very responsive.

All 4 of us enjoyed the stay. Very well equipped kitchen although we only used microwave and coffeemaker. Washer and dryer were very useful for us. Handy to anything we wanted to do. Went to DC on the Metro worked great!! All the people were so helpful everywhere we went!!
