"Family had a great time! My wife enjoyed fresh eggs every morning from the chicken coop. This is what I consider a real cabin! not those resort style wannabes. The lake is a quick walk down the road. The neighbors or lack thereof is quiet. Honestly you will most likely feel like the loudest people there. The kiddo enjoyed walking around the local area taking photos of the scenery. It snowed our last day there and was a beautiful departure for our trip."

"Pros: The house was great and had everything we needed. It had plenty of space and the basement area was a big bonus having 4 teens with us. The owners are extremely responsive and answered all questions and texts immediately. Cons: distance to activities - just be prepared to drive a lot. If remote is what you want this house is perfection. "

"The cabin was exactly what we needed. Close to Boone, close to the slopes but tucked nicely on the lake. We enjoyed the fire pit, some boat dock fishing and a little game night. What a great Christmas weekend!"
