Beautiful area and little touches make this a 5 star property. Potbelly stove and plenty of firewood made for a very cosy cottage on a cold night. 5 min drive to Watervale pub and plenty of wineries.

Great place for a slow paced break

Great accomodation, located just out of Watervale - close to all of the attractions of the Clare Valley. Hosts attentive and friendly - nice touches like generous breakfast provisions, wood for the cosy fire and freshly baked bread. All this made for a very relaxing break! Only issue was sketchy mobile phone reception.

It was set among the gum trees overlooking a creek opposite the main homestead. It was quiet but for the birdsong. A beautiful setting for relaxing. There were a number of home touches and a well stocked fridge.

The breakfast items consisted three different choices of breakfast cereal , yogurt as well as bacon , eggs, mushrooms . A very relaxing place to stay surrounded by beautiful gardens and gum trees . This place is a MUST if you’re heading to the Clare Valley. An absolutely beautiful tranquil spot and food for days! The hosts are so generous with their food gifts that you won’t need to go out for breakfast or snacks. The cozy wood fire keeps you warm at night & adds to the country feel. Would highly recommend and would stay again and again.
