Gorgeous, private, secluded area to enjoy nature with a view. House is very well decorated, clean and functional. Awesome waterfall shower and giant king bed. As long as you have a reliable car for pot holes and gravel, you are set.

River Ranch - Loved it!

Beautiful escape

What a wonderful relaxing weekend! First off the property is secluded and beautiful. Wonderful views! The house was very nice and had everything we needed. If you need a relaxing getaway this one fits the bill perfectly. We will definitely be back.

Such beautiful views and a cozy, clean, relaxing place to stay. It was far away from busy traffic. Be aware if you have dogs with you THERE ARE DANGEROUS SNAKES ON THE PROPERTY. No fault of the owners and of course its obvious based on surroundings that this is a potential issue, but our son's dog was bitten by a copperhead on the front porch on our last night there. He did survive even though he sustained 4 bites and the nearest vet was an hour away so please just be cautious.

A cozy river getaway

This property is absolutely perfect. The house is gorgeous, and well stocked for activities and meals. The river and outside areas are well-maintained and welcoming. We spent so much time outside at the water, flying kites, and watching the wildlife. Highly recommend!!

Peaceful panoramic view

Total release to nature. Total quiet except for the running of the river. The night sky is a dark zone and it was brillant The accommodations where very nice. Lots of space Everything you would need Love the sun room Great host!

The Perfect Getaway

We had such an amazing time on this property. The host was very communicative and helpful with questions. The location is private enough to feel “unplugged” but also not too far from the store if you forgot something! Our group felt very safe with the location, and the house had everything we needed to cook with - utensils, pots and pans and grilling supplies! This was the best camping/nature spot we have stayed in. We will definitely be back. - The only thing I wish the property had was a clear pathway down to the river, it would be very nice to hang out by the river or take.a swim!

Great Stay - Very Awesome Ranch

Thank you for making my Birthday Weekend a great one. This is a very cozy location, you don't close access to the river for fishing but the view is wonderful and the sound the water flowing can heard from the front door step. Very relaxing setup, there is not a TV in the master but to be honest we stayed busy enough with the hiking at Tanyard Creek and Woka Park. Camp fire is a nice touch, we used the large kitchen more than the grill provided.

Beautiful Setting, No River Access

If you are looking for a remote getaway, this is the property for you. It's a beautiful, clean home with everything you need to prepare meals. The view of the river is lovely and we saw deer, rabbits, and even a bald eagle. However, be aware that the last 20 minutes of the drive is on gravel roads. The only disappointment was that there was no river access, so we had to leave the property each day and drive 30-40 minutes to a public access location. We had hoped to swim and fish at the property but could not do so.

The home and property are beautiful. It was a relaxing stay. One thing I loved was the baby bassinet and bouncer. They were a great surprise. There were so many positives. The host was very responsive and helpful. Thank you! There were two draw backs. There is no TV in the master bedroom. The other is the last 5 miles (15 minutes) of our journey was on gravel and dirt roads.

Perfect to get away and relax!

Wife and I brought two of our kids (well…20 and 14 years old) up to get away for a few days and relax right after Christmas. We all like the outdoors and seclusion but also don’t want to drive forever to grab essentials. This was just what we needed. We were here two days and three nights. We did three meals in town and the rest at the house. Then went twice for hikes at Natural Falls State Park, which is also very close. Cabin was clean and accommodating. Everything worked fine. Property is nice, with deer roaming at dusk and in the morning. We enjoyed time around the kitchen table, in the living room, and outside around the fire!

Peaceful trip for 8

The property is absolutely beautiful and so very peaceful! Pros: beds are very comfortable, the house is spacious, the scenery is gorgeous, the fire pit area was perfect at nighttime, and the communication between Cohova was top notch! They answered every question I had expeditiously, even on the weekends. Cons: there is no “river access” on the property. However, you have public access just down the road next to the neighboring house. We found this out after floating the river. The weeds were a little bit of an issue but didn’t make/break our trip. Overall it was an amazing trip and we would 100% book again and recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful trip!

We wanted something out of town and secluded for our anniversary and this was absolutely perfect! The property is beautiful and has so much to offer. It is about 30 minutes to the nearest grocery store so make sure you plan appropriately.
