Getaway for Parents B-Days & Anniversary

Our family rented this place for our parents to give them time away for both their Birthdays (79 & 80 y/o) and their Anniversary (59 yrs)!! This place was perfect and had everything they needed. The owner went above and beyond to ensure their stay was perfect as well. We will definitely be renting again in the future!!!

Great getaway

My girlfriend and I rented this place to have a little getaway. We had a great experience and really enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. Our weather was bad so we stayed in the cottage almost the whole weekend, and it was extremely cozy and welcoming. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and would and probably will stay here again!

Peaceful getaway

Honestly it’s what we needed away from a stressful couple of weeks of work. The perfect 1yr Anniversary cottage enjoying views and nature. Weather was a bit iffy but made the best of it. Also Debbie was very understanding with the issues that came up and had a quick solution for it. Appreciated the thoughtfulness and definitely would return again. Ps. Skylift is worth it!

Short getaway

Very well planned rental. Well stocked with just about everything you would need. Clean. Peaceful. Surrounded by nature. Woods, roosters crowing, cows mooing 🙂

A great getaway

First off, the establishment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, offering a wonderful atmosphere and vibe. The hot tub was immaculate and meticulously cared for. While the grill was a bit small, it functioned flawlessly. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep during our stay. The surrounding woods were beautiful, with plenty of birds and local wildlife to enjoy from the hot tub. Additionally, all utensils and cookware were provided, including a Keurig—a delightful and appreciated amenity.

Everything was fantastic. Only issue was the propane grill tank ran empty but host refilled it the next day. It set a high standard for other places I'll stay in the future.

Phenomenal Stay!!!

I have to say the owner thought of EVERY little detail to make our stay absolutely incredible and stress free!! The place is stunning and immaculately cleaned as well as stocked with EVERYTHING you need! The area is stunning and so filled with SOOOOO many different things to do and see! Giovanni's was delicious!! Reno's was the best steak and ribs EVER! EVERYONE was truly helpful and nice. Must see Nada Tunnel!!!! It's truly one of the most BEAUTIFUL things I've ever seen in my life! Definitely going to come back again for a even longer stay!!!!

Peaceful getaway

House is in a quiet location and provides a very relaxing setting. It's a perfect spot for a couples getaway, very cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed relaxing in the private hot tub while taking in the great view. The very well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, since it is quite a distance to any restaurants. House is very close to Cave Run Lake. It was a little drive to the Red River Gorge area and Natural Bridge State Park, and both are definitely worth visiting.

Perfect cabin in the woods!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect getaway for the two of us! About an hour from the gorge, it was easy to go spend the day enjoying the outdoors and great to come back and relax in the hot tub and grill out. We look forward to coming back and enjoying this little slice of paradise again!

Weekend getaway

Cabin was perfect for my wife and me. Was very clean and well taken care of, had lots of privacy but was also close to everything we wanted to do. Was perfect to unwind and refresh. We will be booking this cabin again.

Great Stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary and we had a great stay. Everything was very clean and felt so nice and cozy. The porch view was really pretty and the hot tub was just what we needed after hiking all day. It is out in the boonies so if you need groceries or want to eat out do so beforehand. We really enjoyed our time here 🙂

Perfect Getaway

I can't say enough great things about our stay at Debbie's property. I would say it's even better in person than the pictures she has online! It was quiet, clean, nicely decorated, cozy, and perfect for two people. Debbie responded to questions quickly. We had no issues during our stay. The hot tub was amazing and we had perfect weather to use it in the mornings while drinking our coffee and in the evenings after a long day of hiking. We weren't expecting cornhole boards, so that was a nice added touch to give us something to do in the evenings. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the fire pit or the smore items she left for us, but that was also a wonderful added touch! There are neighbors on one side of her but we only saw them outside once and never heard them so it still felt secluded with all the trees around her property. The lake is really close to her house and I wished we had gone there during our stay. We stopped by on our way home and it was beautiful but didn't get much time to explore. The only thing I will say is that her place isn't really close to the main hiking areas at Red River Gorge. It's about an hour's drive. We honestly didn't mind though because the drive there was absolutely beautiful on winding country roads through the hills of Kentucky! I would recommend this place to everyone and would love to come stay here again in the future!

Good time

Place was really nice. It did storm most of our stay but we did enjoy the hot tub and cornhole. Only downfall was that we didn’t know the kayaks we an up charge of $25.

The cutest cabin ever!

We had an amazing time relaxing here! The entire property was very clean and beautifully decorated! The kitchen is fully stocked. We brought a crock pot to cook even less! The outside space and hot tub was amazing! We loved the hot tub and outdoor firepit! The area is quiet and private and the cabin is definitely worth a return visit!

Cozy and Clean

This property was absolutely adorable. The tiny details were so nice such as the items to make s’mores and other snacks was very thoughtful. Clean and well kept. The hot tub was great just wish the weather was warmer so we could have enjoyed other aspects of the patio. This is definitely a must stay and we plan on booking another trip in the future when it’s warmer.
