“We had a wonderful time. Dave and Miken were excellent hosts. The goats were a true delight! It was also sweet to see the ducks and meet a lovely dog named Poe.Although the room was in the barn it was well-insulated and barely smelled of the goats. With the heater and heavy blankets it was easy to keep warm, and the shower had plenty of hot water and nice soaps. Only unexpected part was a unique toilet which required some instruction to use. Using it was quite easy though and we quickly adapted……

“Renter beware. This is a transformed shed. The loft with a mattress is a box storage area. Not for people of size or age. The second bed is a small futon. River is not accessible because of erosion and broken glass. The river at this spot is not a place to swim because of debris building materials and car parts . The river view is spectacular and bird watching was good. A few other things but the owner said he would address those issues. Then weather was great! ”

“We had a really nice stay here in NH. The host communicated with us on things to be aware before we arrived and was very kind. The property was beautiful, sadly it was too cold to fully enjoy the water but I loved that there was a canoe available for use. Kitchen was spacious and having a grill was very nice. “This was a great property in an amazing location! PLENTY of space for a group. Lots of beds and the kitchen had EVERYTHING you need. You can walk right into town, and it’s just a short drive to all of the main Franconia attractions—truly excellent.My only feedback is that the title is a little misleading. I didn’t realize until after booking that the pool, hot tub, etc. are located off-site and require a drive rather than being right on the property.That said, we honestly didn’t have much time……
