Both offered lovely meals in an ancient setting with welcoming hosts. Also a good place to visit a place close to my heart. Carding Mill Valley a National Trust owned and well looked after location with stunning views and wonderful walks.”

“We had a lovely couple of days in the Megapod! Friendly and helpful staff, hot tub and BBQ and just chilling out. Hot tub went wonky on second day but the staff persevered and got it sorted in time for a nice hot soak! Overall, great staff, locals, food and accommodation hence 5 stars!”

“I needed a space to reset- it was stunning, not overcrowded. Loved the space and the hot tub. The enclosed garden is perfect for dogs or younger kids- I didn’t need to worry. There’s a little village near by (5 mins drive) that has grocery shops and a lovely little butchers and antique store but it’s small. I wanted secluded and peaceful so it was perfect.”
