"Staff were friendly and professional and helpful. The hotel is shabby except the newer bathroom. The bar was dirty, felt more like an old man pub than a classy hotel bar. Disappointed overall."

"Well, it was cheap. It is student accomodation basically, very run down, not very clean but comfy bed. Very difficult to see the entry codes due to very poor lighting. Kitchen area unusable blue to renovation ( long overdue)!! Go elsewhere."

"Beautiful location, you could walk down the back garden and paddle in the Firth. Well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Great dining table - we started playing Scrabble again! Very welcoming, and all the wild blackberries you can eat! Patrick was very accommodating. It is a lovely house."
