  • Apartment block "Am Acher II", built in 2008. In the district of Am Acher 250 m from the centre of Wengen, on a slope, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet. In the house: lift, central heating system. Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, supermarket 250 m, restaurant 100 m, bar, bakery 250 m, 3 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.3 km, railway station "Wengen" 250 m, outdoor swimming pool 600 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 250 m, children's playground 100 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.
    "Am Acher II Apt. F", 3-room apartment 93 m2 on 3rd floor. Spacious and bright, modern and stylish furnishings: living/dining room with Scandinavian wood stove, cable TV and DVD. Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 double bed (1 x 180 cm, length 200 cm), bath/shower/WC. 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Large, open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 induction hot plates, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC. Large balcony, west facing position. Balcony furniture. Marvellous panoramic view of the mountains. Facilities: washing machine, dryer, iron, hair dryer, logs (extra). Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Delightful

The view from our balcony was amazing! Having a kitchen and laundry facilities was a great advantage to being able to stay on budget and enjoy relaxing while traveling. Once we found the best way to get to the town and station, the location was perfect.. We would definitely recommend it and would love to get back!

Awesome views and quiet town

It was a simple check in process and the place was very clean and had the best views Wengen had to offer. If you are planning to stay and adventure in the Interlaken (Jungrau region) stay here! One thing that could be better would be if the place was stocked with the basic necessities such as salt and pepper, laundry detergent, shampoo and body wash.

Appartment is very nice. Good location, lovely view and plenty of space. Service of interhome in Wengen lackluster though. Closed a lot and the one request we had, plug for the bathtub, couldn’t be helped with. “You are too late, it’s almost 16:00”. We were there the day before, they were closed. We were there at 12:30, closed. We were there at 15:30, they were getting groceries during opening hours…

Stunning views

The chalet apartment was clean, everything was true to the photos, had everything we needed, and the view from the balcony was absolutely amazing! It’s only a 5 minute walk from the train station, the village center, and the Coop grocery store. The couch needed a light cleaning and the beds were just OK for comfort, but overall I would go back without hesitation for that view.

Great little apartment in Wengen

Stayed here for a week in Feb. Modern apartment, with great views from the balcony with all the accessories / amenities we needed. We had a minor issue with having no bath plug, but that was fixed quickly. Included a ski storage pass by the skilift for the family. Would recommend staying in this apartment. Pick up from the train station would have been nice, with ski equipment and bags in tow. Also key collection can take a while at peak times (30 minutes in our case).

Lovely location in Wengen

This apartment is conveniently located to grocery store, train station and has a wonderful view of the mountains. I have stayed previously in the building. This apartment however has an issue with cigarette smoke filtering into the second bedroom/ laundry from another unit. When I complained on check in to the manager , she said, “ what do you want me to do?” Also the floors inside and on balcony we’re dirty, our white socks were black on the bottom. We stayed 16 days, they changed the sheets the second week but no cleaning. Also there wasn’t any mop or cleaners to clean it myself. If they correct the problems this unit would be a good choice. We love Wengen and the area.

Wengen and Condo the Best!

I have visited Wengen multiple times staying in hotels. This was the 1st experience in a condo and would repeat it as it was perfect. Condo has a lovely view and perfectly appointed.

Stunning, good quality apartment with the best views in town (views in all directions). Kitchen supplies were great. The hairdryer did not work but that was very minor.

Amazing apartment and location!!!!

This was by far one of the most beautiful places on earth I've ever stayed and the apartment we stayed in with our two teenagers made the trip perfect! The location was within 5 minutes walking from the train station in Wengen and everything in the apartment was modern and brand new. Pros - Wengen is car-free and quiet which was fantastic! The deck on the apartment had amazing views and you could literally just watch the clouds roll in/out each day and stare at the Alps. Breathtaking! We cooked most nights in the apartment and it was just like home. The grocery store is 3-4 minutes walk away and has everything you need. Beds and bathrooms were up to date, modern, etc. And cable/tv worked great to watch the Eurocup matches while we were visiting :) Cons - NONE. I would come back and stay in this same apartment for a month or more. In fact, the couple in the apartment next door were there for 3 or 4 weeks. This is the perfect location in the Alps and the perfect apartment. I HIGHLY recommend for any family with two kids or one couple and two individuals traveling together.
