Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, supermarket 600 m, restaurant, bar 400 m, bakery 600 m, 7 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.6 km, railway station "Wengen" 600 m, outdoor swimming pool 900 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 600 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.
    "Bergfrieden Apt. 2", 3-room apartment 100 m2 on 2nd floor. Spacious and bright, modern and tasteful furnishings: living room with cable TV. 2 rooms, each room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), radio. Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC, bath/shower/WC. Large terrace. Terrace furniture. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Amazing Wengen apartment

Fabulous rental with breathtaking views. Bit of a walk uphill to get there, not ideal if you have mobility issues or out of shape. Otherwise- perfect!

Our stay in Wengen was absolutely wonderful. The condo was perfect - spotless, beautifully maintained, and even nicer than the photos (which is saying something!). The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms modern, and having a washer/dryer available was a great bonus.Everything exceeded our expectations, from the cleanliness to the comfort and attention to detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Wengen and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Excellent Stay!

Family stay in Wengen

We very much enjoyed this home. Everything was as advertised. We didn't cook while here but the kitchen was well stocked. The home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the outside area for relaxation and the fabulous view. The washer and dryer were very convenient.

A heaven in the mountains

We had an amazing time at this property. Great location, beautiful apartment, extremely well equipped. The kitchen had everything you can imagine and of high quality. Cannot think of anything that was below perfect rating. Will definitely go back!

A Comfortable Stay in Wengen

Apartment was very clean, comfortably furnished and the surroundings were beautiful- quiet, shady, and a view of the mountains as we dined at the large table on the balcony! Kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. The walk from the train station takes about 10 to 15 min and is uphill but very doable. We would definitely rent again!

This apartment in located in Wengen, and wenden is a car free zone. So for everything you have to travel thru Interlaken, which takes about 50 mins each way with 2 train changes. Better to stay in Interlaken if you are a tourist will save you lot of time. Wengen is a small village uphill. The apartment was located 10 mins up the hill from Wengen station which is a bit of a walk uphill. Has good restaurants and super market. I wish I knew this before but went to interlaken almost everyday to change trains. I would stay in Interlaken for my next trip.

Comfortable Stay in Wengen

This apartment was perfect for us. 2 bedrooms of nice size and 2 bathrooms- 1 large and 1 small. Beds were comfortable, pillows okay. Apartment was furnished with good seating- plenty for 4 people. Kitchen was well-equipped. All was very clean. Outdoor balcony with large table and seating was wonderful with a beautiful view of the mountains. This house was in a very nice area- quiet and shaded. A good walk from the train station and uphill, but worked for us. Washer and dryer downstairs!

Good for a walking holiday

A nice well appointed, clean apartment with 2 rooms, one en-suite, large living area and small kitchenette. It's at the top end of the village, a good uphill walk from the station. We had our baggage in backpacks and walked to it. If you have suitcases you might be better with a Taxi, there are a couple in Wengen The "Cevi youth organisation has a large building (for 55 kids) just across from the Chalet, occasional you would hear them but they were no real problem.

Modern en ruim appartement

Voor derde jaar achter elkaar hier geweest. Beviel altijd zeer goed, paar nadelen: er is geen sfeerverlichting in de woonkamer, een magnetron ontbreekt en je hoort de voetstappen van de bovenburen. Dit jaar was de jeugd in de nabij gelegen Chalets vrij druk. We zijn wel bezorgd over al de bouwplannen achter en naast Bergfrieden (er staan veel "stokken"). Dat geeft veel bouwverkeer van stinkende en lawaaierige diesel vrachtautotjes. We twijfelen of we hier nog terug willen...
