  • Apartment block "Panorama", built in 2003. Below Wengen, 800 m from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position on a slope. In the house: central heating system. Pre-arrival grocery service. Motor access to 30 m from the house. Stepped path (20 steps) to the house. Shop, supermarket 800 m, restaurant 500 m, bar 800 m, 15 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.8 km, railway station "Wengen" 800 m, outdoor swimming pool 1.3 km. Cable car, skisport facilities 800 m, children's playground 500 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.
    "Panorama Apt. P", 4-room apartment 100 m2 on 1st floor. Bright, modern and tasteful furnishings: living/dining room with Scandinavian wood stove, dining table, satellite TV and radio. Exit to the balcony. 2 rooms, each room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 induction hot plates, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC, bath/shower/WC. Large balcony. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful view of the mountains and the valley. Facilities: iron, hair dryer, logs (extra). Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Great location. This is really a 3 bedroom 2 bath. Easily sleeps 6. Has everything you will need. Literally steps from Wengen train station.

This spot has the most breathtaking view of Lauterbrunnen in the valley between two mountain sides. It was also spotless on arrival, easily the cleanest VRBO I've been to. The host, Interhome, was very accommodating for our late arrival outside normal check-in hours. Highly recommend!

Chalet Panorama, Wengen

A spacious and clean apartment with a wonderful view of the upper Lauterbrunnen valley. It's worth staying there for that alone. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent, but would point out that there is an additional en-suite in one of the bedrooms which is not mentioned on the internet site. Also have to mention there was no washing machine on site which was our only disappointment. Access is down a steep hill so be ready for that if you are thinking of booking.

Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet, war sauber und bietet im Winter und Sommer einen tollen Ausblick. Die Anreise ist im Winter mit viel Gepäck erschwert, da keine direkte Zufahrt möglich ist. Das Gepäck muss ca 100m bergab selbst getragen werden. Aber die Wohnung ist super.

Stunning views

A well appointed chalet with outstanding views over the Lauterbrunnen valley from a spacious balcony. Well equipped kitchen, and comfortable furniture. The chalet is about 10 minutes walk from the railway station. The only negative was the lack of a washing machine.

Island of Solitude in Zurich

I and 3 adult family members spent 3 nights in Zurich at this lovely apartment in July 2016. It was quite enjoyable. The description and pictures of the listing are accurate. The apartment was clean. I would recommend this listing and will definitely choose it short I return to Zurich. It was on a quiet street and yet within easy walking distance to bus and tram. I especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony reading and absorbing the relaxing atmosphere of the neighborhood. It is a half kilometer from the velodrome and one night we were able to hike down the hill for some fascinating bicycle racing. The Wifi was good. Television reception kept us in touch with the world. There is a grocery nearby and the kitchen is well stocked with necessary utensils. Julie stopped by to make sure all was going well and was quite helpful. My only warning would be is that the apartment is on the third floor with no lift. It was not a problem for us We went to Switzerland to hike and it was good exercise.
