  • Chalet "Mioche". In the district of Stutzweidli, 1.5 km from the centre of Wengen, in a quiet, sunny position. In the house: central heating system. Pre-arrival grocery service. Motor access to 30 m from the house. Shop 1.5 km, supermarket 1.5 km, restaurant 1.3 km, bar 1.5 km, bakery 1.5 km, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 4.5 km, railway station "Wengen" 1.5 km. Cable car 1.5 km, skisport facilities 1.5 km, slopes 50 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. In case of good snow conditions, the house is accessible on skis. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.
    "Mioche", 4-room chalet 120 m2 on 2 levels. Spacious, rustic and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with open-hearth fireplace, satellite TV, radio, CD-player and DVD. 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). Kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Dolce Gusto) extra, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/bidet/WC, sep. WC. Upper floor: with sloping ceilings, 2 rooms, each room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Shower/WC. Solar power. Large terrace. Terrace furniture. Marvellous panoramic view of the mountains. Facilities: iron, hair dryer, logs (extra). Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: suitable for families. Non-smokers only.

Stunning views and wonderful chalet tucked up the mountain. Quiet and away from town, provided an excellent spot to spend a few days. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed four glorious nights at this property with our grown children. The five of us were incredibly comfortable and loved every moment. The views are unparalleled, the home is very comfortable and the remodeled bathrooms were fantastic. It’s a great location but beware if you aren’t in pretty good shape - the climb to the home is moderately strenuous and a little longer than expected. Fortunately, we enjoyed spectacular weather and loved the views so much that the uphill climb was absolutely worth every step.

Charming and comfortable chalet

Very charming and comfortable chalet, built in a traditional style, the rooms offered a breathtaking view. Although it's a bit outside the city center and the train station, it's easily reachable either with a 15-minute walk or in just a few minutes by using the local taxi service. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and functional, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for quick meals or hot drinks. Overall cleanliness was excellent. The Wi-Fi and TVs were also great.

The Mioche chalet was a dream! The location offered an amazing view from the patio and the living room has large French style doors with full windows. You can see waterfalls and beautiful rolling hills as you’re relaxing in the living room. While you’re eating breakfast the breathtaking scenery of Wengen is right there. The chalet is spacious and only a 15 minute walk to Wengen. There’s access to hiking trails everywhere and well labeled. There are no cars, accessing Wengen is by train from Lauterbrunnen. Lauterbrunnen is only a 10 minute train ride. We were able to do everything we set out to, and staying in Wengen at the Mioche chalet was a wonderful experience!

Wohlfühloase

Sehr ruhig gelegenes Chalet etwas ausserhalb des Dorfes. Direkter Zugang an Skipiste. Viel Platz und geräumige Zimmer. Gute Innenausstattung, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Viele private Gegenstände der Besitzer im Haus, dies gibt einem das Gefühl von zu Hause zu sein. Neuer toller Kamin und neues Bad. 3 Toiletten ist Luxus für eine Gruppe von 6 Personen.

This place is a hidden Gem

Our family stayed here for 10 days during the summer. This stay was the best part of our Switzerland vacation, the house is fabulous , very comfortable with all amenities , but the views are unbeatable. You have the waterfall views from the front porch and living room. You can hear the waterfall sound if you open the windows in the bedrooms too, You also have views of the Alps right from your house, you would just want to stay at the home and not leave :) . It is a 12 min walk from town.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have traveled to many countries in my life and this property has some of the best views I’ve ever seen. The common statement by friends when they see the pictures is “that doesn’t look real”. It didn’t look real when I was standing outside looking at the mountains and waterfalls from the property either. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Spacieux chalet, authentique, confortable, cuisine très bien équipée, vue grandiose. Relativement éloigné du village mais très joli chemin. Station très agréable avec des enfants (piscine, mini golf, marches pour tout niveau).

Gute Ausstattung, gemütliches Ambiente, das einzige Manko sind die Etwas durchgelegene Matratzen, aber diese sind natürlich je nach Empfindlichkeit vom Schlafkomfort individuell zu werten:)

Ferien im Haus Mioche

Das Haus ist relativ weit weg vom Dorf. Es braucht viel Muskelkraft bis alles Material im Haus ist. Das Haus selber liegt sehr ruhig und ist mit den Skis gut erreichbar. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unseren Ferien im Haus, ausser mit den Betten. Die Matratzen sind wirklich nicht mehr tragbar, auch nicht in einem Ferienhaus. Preis Leistung an der oberen Grenze

Für Genießer

Das Mioche ist ein Kleinod. Etwas beschwerlicher zu erreichen. Aber die Lage und der Blick entschädigen für alles. Gemütliche, urige Hütte mit tollem Kamin, Stereoanlage, wunderbare St,jung. Und die Terrasse mit Blick auf die Jungfrau. Grandios.
