「I wasn't sure what to expect of the Seymour Lake Lodge when I booked it on Hotels.com. Was I pleasantly surprised! It is an old converted farmhouse, with tons of character, and all the modern conveniences. The room was adequate and comfortable, the view of the lake was stunning, both from my room, and the large front porch! A huge yard for walking my dog. Had lengthy conversations with the property manager and another guest. One of my most memorable stays.」

Although toni was really nice and offered us a place to stay under his deck we felt like we were imposing. Asked about a fire and we were brought next door ti another campers fire. 「Instructions on TV were all wrong/out of date, but owner cleared up second day. There are multiple logins listed for Fubo steaming service so owner should clear up all documentation for guests. Stove is not fully functional, but we did need it so it was not an issue for us. One kitchen glass had a crack in it. WiFi and Internet service is not fast, ~4Mbps down, resulting in streaming TV sometimes having to catch up in caching compressed data and delays in using laptop online. It got slower after...

The property owner was extremely attentive (had an issue with the furnace he had fixed immediately); I had reached out for a local photographers name and were sent several. 「This is our second time and once again Josh was responsive and thoughtful given we were in need of a place for Christmas Eve. The house was even decorated and nice and cozy for the holidays when we arrived AND he left us a gift of maple syrup, chocolates and a few other goodies for our stay. Having a fenced in yard makes it easy with our dogs and the house is conveniently located in the NEK. We will definitely continue to book here when we need a house to bring our dogs with us. 「The setting of the cabin - near the end of the road by an out-of-the-way unspoilt pond - is wonderful, and the cabin, though modest, is very comortable and convenient. We canoed on the lake, saw loons and eagles, hiked nearby, and watched stars - days of amazement and calm. Thank you, Anthony, for being a helpful host, and for all the thought and practicality which has gone into making the cabin so welcoming.」

「This summer camp was immaculately clean and in the perfect place for eclipse viewing. The owner was promptly responsive and very helpful. Only two complaints: a very muddy sloping driveway that made me fear getting stuck, and a bathroom door that came off its track. It would have been good to know about the room enclosing the futon: happily it suited my very short travel companion, but a taller person would not have fit in it.」
