Great location

Great location, quiet setting. The smell of moth balls overwhelmed us most of the week and I had to prewash everything when I got home. Disappointing.

Family trip to Cape near ocean beach

The property played out nice for what we wanted. I do have to say that there was a "moth ball/Stale" smell when we arrived that was pretty strong. it did dissipate as the week went along. Though we could smell it every time we came back to house. Lots of personal items and antiques that made the house feel older than it probably is. We didn't cook but kitchen seemed fine. The gardens were beautiful as described and the walk to the ocean was roughly 10-12 minutes.

Charming location for a summer retreat on the Cape!

We were very impressed with our stay on this property. The house was tidy and clean, and we were pleasantly surprised it was larger than we thought. There are four different rooms where family members can sleep, although it is important to note that only two are truly private--the other two you have to walk through to get to the kitchen or bathroom. It has a 4-season porch that are kids loved hanging out in. The yard is fairly private and full of well-maintained gardens. True to the description, it is less than a mile to the local beach and lots to keep a family occupied nearby. We had brought a small fan, which was a life saver that helped me sleep at night. I wished the property had a welcome book that could remind you of check-out policies and provide more guidance on local activities and restaurants. Otherwise, we were all thrilled and would gladly stay there again.

Great location, beautiful gardens

We had a great stay at the property and it had everything we needed. We loved the gardens, outdoor shower, beautiful antique pieces and all amenities. We cooked seafood while dancing and singing to the old school radio with all the tools provided and my 4 year old loved the hammock and outdoor shower.
