I've visited many locations over the years, but Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, CO is still my favorite place on earth. The beautiful red rock formations, serene mountain side landscape, and abundance of wildlife make this a must visit destination.
The Siamese Twins Trail is an easy 1 mile roundtrip, with less than a 150 foot rise. There is a unique view of Pikes Peak through the natural window of the twins.
If you look closely you can see one of the paths that wind through the rock formations at Garden of the Gods. These rock formations are an amazing sight because they seem to have come from nowhere. There are no other formations like these anywhere in sight so you're left with a sense of wonderment.
