Warm and friendly place!
Everything at the Sugar Maple Inn was newly renovated and very clean. The staff was helpful, friendly and accomodating. The food and drink in the lounge were good but pricey. The lounge has a beutiful fireplace but they never lit it up despite staying there on a very cold weekend.

The Inn is very new, which has pros & cons. The space is newly constructed, the rooms clean, the Inn has a bit of an odd layout, but is overall nice & well-appointed. Staffing is thin which wouldn’t generally be a problem, but it made for an inconsistent vibe & experience. Breakfast was excellent one day, the next we waited & were told that eggs would be made “if the cook wakes up in time & feels like making them.” The main dining room was very cold in the morning. It was stressful to see & hear unattended children of staff not get the attention they needed. The Inn is very conveniently located, has nice modern style with comfortable rooms, & I’m sure will be excellent after working out some kinks.

The hotel is well preserved, clean and nice. Great coffee machine and nice breakfast. They need to change their room cleaning policies though. Covid is long over now. You need to ask for your room to be cleaned and in one occasion even with the request, one of the rooms I had was not made up. Also, they need to make clear that there is no hot tub and heated pool at the premisses. Thermostats at the rooms also need to be revised, as the room temperature gets quite warm in the night. We enjoyed it but the place can improve with this simple things.

Wonderful
Cannot recommend this place enough. We stayed here for 2 nights on a ski trip and it was wonderful. The room was clean, spacious, and just as pictures online. Staff were incredibly sweet and helpful. If you want to be close to Mount Snow but still have privacy, this is the place for you.

Great Hotel right by Mount Snow
We were pleasantly surprised at the Sugar Maple Inn. The entire hotel was completely redone and new. The staff made sure our stay was pleasant and the price was ok. I would recommend the Sugar Maple Inn for anyone wanting to ski Mount Snow and the surrounding mountains.

lovely room with great pillows! We usually bring our own pillows to hotels but not needed here. New owners are modernizing the property and bringing on a chef. The best is yet to come and we loved our time here already

The door was locked and the lights were off
I booked this for my spouse who was travelling. When she arrived, the place was dark (it was 8 pm) and nobody answered the door. Luckily, she found a place down the road.

We are extremely sorry about what happened to your wife, and know it is unacceptable to us and what we stand for. After thoroughly investigating, your check-in was not handled appropriately and we have let the team member in charge go. We took our 5 kids for the weekend, and what an adorable place! Newly renovated and you can tell. It was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, had delicious free breakfast, lovely grounds, and a great location for visiting family in Wilmington. One of our rooms had the balcony over the front steps with 2 adorable swings to relax on. I would love to see it in the winter… very close to Mt. Snow! We’ll be staying again for sure next time we visit!

This beautiful place is like a butterfly emerging. The owners, Natalie and Julian are doing an amazing job of revealing its potential. Our kids and we were on a tour of Vermont, looking for a home to buy, and this was their favorite spot. We especially loved the midlevel sitting room with the PacMan arcade machine and the riverside deck with views of the rushing water. We can't wait to come back through the area in the future to see their additional improvements, including restaurant, and arcade. Thanks for the great stay!

Beautiful new inn! Everything you could want for a weekend stay. Comfortable accommodations, super friendly, always trying to please guests, most of all the owners keep families in mind. Impeccably clean, safe area, great location. I can’t wait to see all the up coming changes the owners Natalie and Julian make. Well done guys. We will back for sure and let our friends know.

Very sweet place to stay. Cozy, clean and newly renovated. Perfect for a Mount Snow trip, just 4 minutes away. Breakfast was just right: waffle maker and Nespresso machine! Owner Natalie and also Jason at the desk would do anything to make your stay pleasant. Highly recommend. Standard queen room was fine for daddy-daughter long weekend.

The rooms were all updated and completely bran new. We actually stayed there on opening night. We booked just a few days ahead of time and as it turns out they had just listed the hotel on Expedia. The beds were very comfortable. It was a nice family atmosphere close to Mount Snow. They are going to be opening a restaurant soon as well. The staff was very nice and professional and we met the owners as well, who were also very nice and shared some of their plans.
