Be aware you will be asked for a deposit by bank transfer which was not highlighted on Expedia - it worked fine and was transferred back to me within 24 hours. Nothing nearby, aside from Aldi. ”

“The fan didn't work, the 2 skylight windows were full of cobwebs and didn't look like they had been cleaned, the tap in the kitchen was coming away from its base, the extractor fans were a little bit noisy.Would have liked to have been on a lower floor. Other than that, we would definitely stay again, loved the ruins and the squirrels. ”

“We rented this house for my daughter's hen weekend the house was stunning in an amazing location with great facilities. We could not find fault with the house it accommodated 20 of us amply. All types of celebrations are catered for here from a formal dinner, to a party to a film night and even quiet relaxation in the pool and hot tub. The garden and grounds are well maintained and are beautiful. There is a pretty Marina just 5 minutes walk away with a lovely pub just 5 minutes further on. We……

“Mum is 92 and we both loved this property, fields full of lambs one side and the canal the other, pub 100m away, good weather, what more can you ask. “The house was nice but the cleaning was not. There was no dining table as advertised - which was disappointing as we want to do a family meal. Also I would definitely not describe the kitchen as well stocked.”

“The house is large, well laid out and proportioned, with 5 bedrooms, 3 ensuite and one family bathroom, separate downstairs toilet, in a great location with a good number of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Easy on street parking. Kitchen is huge and we mainly gathered there. A touch too windy to enjoy the garden but did use the outdoor table tennis table. There were some teething issues but the host responded quickly and well. However I have to agree with previous feedback:……
