The hotel needs to change the vanity fixtures in the bathroom, they're terrible. No free coffee in the lobby? For the money, any other hotel would be a better option.

Needs Some Tweaking
The room was fairly spacious, had a 'fridge but lacked a microwave. The walk in shower, with no door to close it off, left the bathmat soaking wet (immediately), and left the occupant cold. And, unless that occupant is more than 6 feet tall, there is no way to adjust the flow or direction of the shower head.

The hotel was in walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was clean and had a nice lobby to sit with friends/family. The negative is, the bar was supposed to be open until 10pm, both nights we were there, they closed at 8:30 and 9:30. They locked us out of room a half hour before check out. We had to go to the desk to have our key card reinstated.

Our lock system is automated and keys are supposed to invalidate a half hour after checkout. I'm having our maintenance department look into this specific instance. It appears that you otherwise enjoyed your stay. Please accept my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience that these items may have caused. Stay well and safe travels.

Dear Pamela, Thanks for the nice comments. Our rooms feature both fiber fill and feather pillows. I find that pillows can be such a personal preference as we get used to what we have at home! This is the first time I have stayed at this hotel. I was surprised how nice the place was, and how friendly the staff were. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Parking is so convenient, and I can see my vehicle from the window. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Great stay!!
UMass Amherst parents weekend stay, wound up a little further away than we wanted to be due to closer hotels being booked up -- half hour drive. But the tradeoff was we found Courtyard West Springfield to be a wonderful facility that is much more up to the Marriott standard one would expect than most other regional properties we have stayed at. Very well maintained, clean, lots of space top spread out in common areas, great gym and pool. Bar that is actually opened although it could use a bigger staff than one to handle drinks and food requests etc. And the fire pit outside is massive and inviting and nice deck area as well. Staff was friendly and attentive.

The front desk staff were very helpful on check in, and the hotel was comfortable and well decorated overall. The main issue was our shower didn't work. We called down and they explained it was a different mechanism as an accessible room, but that still didn't make it work. No one seemed concerned or offered any compensation. We were frustrated not to be able to shower before attending events that day.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay. My sincerest apologies that the shower operation was confusing. I personally went to room 406 to ensure that the shower pull up was present and operational. Similar to the old-style showers, there is a pull up piece in the tub spout. As this sits flush with the spout it can be sometimes hard to see. I'm so sorry we didn't have the opportunity to send someone to your room to rectify this for you.I hope you having a wonderful Fall season and wish you safe travels in the future.Stay Well!

We were put in an end room next to the Exit door. Heavy traffic in an out. Pool was too small more like a kiddie pool. Breakfast was n served but not included. Room smelled of cigarettes and bed looked like someone had slept in it an they forgot to change the sheets.

I shared w/ the manager that my son was autistic and noise sensitive and he moved us to a suite that was quiet away from other guests. The staff onsite were friendly, accommodating and kind. The property was clean, food options were good, pool was great for my son who loves water. Great hotel and the staff and management were excellent which makes the experience all the better.
