All of Switzerland is gorgeous so I can’t really complain about one town versus another but wow, were my searches off. Maybe I didn’t know how to research, but Wengen is by far one of the most amazing places we’ve ever been. “Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Herbsturlaub bei traumhaftem Wetter und in einer perfekten Unterkunft. Schon für die Anreise hatte Sabine alles detailliert erklärt und mit liebevoll genauer Wegbeschreibung versehen. Wir wurden mit unseren Hunden herzlich im Chalet empfangen. Ein so gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus, alles tiptop sauber, wunderbar gemütlich und auch sehr sehr hundefreundlich ausgestattet, gibt es sicher selten. Bei noch sommerlichen Temperaturen konnten wir schöne Wandertouren machen……

“Eine ruhige Lage, abseits des Dorftrubels mit wahrhaft traumhafter Aussicht vom Balkon, vom Esstisch und vom Schlafzimmer auf den Eiger, den Unteren Grindelwaldgletscher und den direkt vor dem Haus befindlichen Paragleiter-Landeplatz. Die Wohnung war absolut sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen konnte - und noch mehr. Es ist kein anonymes Appartement, sondern die sehr herzlichen, hilfsbereiten, aber sich nie aufdrängenden Gastgeber schaffen eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. ”

“Beautiful location. Very quiet and excellent views. We were not allowed to open windows (no screens to keep mosquitos and insects out) so it would get warm in side. Bathroom shower sprayed all over the wall. However, hand shower worked. But then the water flooded the bathroom floor requiring constant wiping and mopping probably due to a slow drain. We had luggage and little kids. Walking from the bus stop wasn’t too bad until we had to take our luggage up a steep hike of about 10 minutes. It……
