“Lovely hotel in a great location with very helpful staff. Nice room, but awkwardly small bathroom, and could have done with a coffee machine. Enjoyed the stay very much.”

“We stayed in the pretty garden room which looked out onto the courtyard garden. It was so peaceful and quiet at the hotel, despite its great central location. Our room was lovely and spacious, with high windows and ceilings, and the bed/bedding were of a high standard. Sofie, who runs the hotel, couldn’t have been nicer - there were surprise birthday treats for my husband when we arrived, extra towels were provided when needed, and Sofie was discreetly on hand to offer any advice on where to……

“I will never stay in another room like this because there is no other room or place as magical as this. Walking around Bruges is like being in a fairytale; why not stay in one? David and his daughter were amazing hosts; the fresh breakfast every morning was delicious and filling. I only left a few hours ago and I already miss the place. If you are considering visiting Bruges, do it right and stay here.”

“Sehr gut gelegen, mitten in der Altstadt, alles wichtigste zu Fuß erreichbar. Mitten im Zentrum und trotzdem ruhig, wahrscheinlich durch doppellte Fenster, auch gut verdunkelt in der Nacht. Parkhaus gleich gegenüber. Der einzige Nachteil für mich war der fehlende Aufzug.”

“Stains on the furniture and headboard of the bed. Stairs to get up to room were so narrow and dark - my husband rolled his ankle trying to get up. Room was very dirty - and not well maintained. Would not recommend. Staff were not helpful nor present. ”
