If you like creepy and history you must go here. The town of Weston is small, the Asylum is in the center of town. It was operated from 1864 until 1994 by the government of the U.S. state of West Virginia, in the city of Weston. If you would like to know more go here. http://www.trans-alleghenylunaticasylum.com
This place is very big, the tour took two hours and still did not see everything. We did experience some strange things like cold spots, being touched and a blinking ball that came out of no where. Ghost Adventures had just filmed their show at the Asylum before we got there. They had left tape X on the floors so they would not get lost in this huge place.
The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, subsequently the Weston State Hospital, was a Kirkbride psychiatric hospital that was operated from 1864 until 1994 by the government of the U.S. state of West Virginia, in the city of Weston.

Front desk check-in girl was very friendly. The internet in the room was very poor. Fortunately my phone had Verizon. When calling the front desk to find out about it they never answered the phone, I even tried twice from the room phone and still no answer. If you need to use a laptop for business ...

Everything was excellent. Specific directions to get there, clean, beautiful view, perfect weather, and the highest water pressure of any shower you’ve ever stepped foot in lol. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure.
