「The lodge was exactly as described. Clean and well maintained. Enough space for 9 (3 generations) without annoying each other! We all enjoyed the firepit and playing cornhole at night. It has a secluded feeling while still being 5 min from stores and restaurants. Gale was friendly and responsive to any questions. We would absolutely stay there again!」

「This is a rundown place. Very old property with no proper updates. We mentioned that we are traveling with a 90 years old lady. There was no response to accommodate us for early check-in or check out. There a almost 30 very narrow stairs to walk up with luggage and a handicap old person. 「This home is a history lesson. Built more than 100 years ago, you see hand-hewn beams supporting the second floor, floors made up of varying-width boards, rooms large enough for their intended purpose without empty space.
We were both intrigued and overwhelmed by the vast differences in home building then and now.
That era saw families and neighbors coming together to fill a need. Everyone pitched in, bringing whatever expertise they had, to get the job done.
