A lovely hotel nestled under the Dorset Ridgeway path and only a 40 minute walk from the coastal path. Pretty setting, with lovely garden and good restaurant. We had breakfast next door at the farmshop which is a linked business and offers a 20% discount to the hotel residents.

Friendly staff make such a difference. They were amazing. We had a cosy afternoon/evening relaxing by the open fire, enjoying a few drinks and nibbles. The room was was great. Although the door was a little hard to open and close. Will definitely stay there again

The restaurant was excellent as were the ales and wine list. Good location for the South West Coast Path and bus service stops right outside. Breakfast supplied by the nearby Farm Shop was delicious.

Really helpful staff as they stayed in location past normal checkin hours, due to several travel delays on our side. Breakfast was amazing. The room was a bit chilly.

Yes parking and staff were ok food was poor i saw multiple customers complaining about the food. Property condition very very tired windows were boarded up up stairs, not being able to have breakfast until 9:00a.m is an issue so for those reasons i wont be staying again, shame cos its a great location for visiting customers in Portland

It was a peaceful setting (out of season). The parking was handy and the breakfast superb!

Lovely stay, comfortable, clean, good service

Perfect location, friendly welcoming staff. Busy pub location, however very quiet after closing. Lovely wildlife sounds overnight. Breakfast short walk next door to farm shop. Very good.
