「We were hardly there, it was a last minute decision to go to the Beach Hop. This unit was perfect for our short stay. Loved hearing the waves crashing on the beach. 「This is a beautiful home with a responsive and friendly host. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine and some cheese which was a lovely surprise. The home is filled with everything you need for great stay and it very much matches the luxurious description. 「The property has a gorgeous view! It was quiet and stayed cool during the warm days. There are great wooded walking paths on the extensive property, offering opportunity to encounter quail as well as a surprise sighting of a pair of rosella. The property manager was very good, sending a welcome email when we arrived for our stay.」

「We ate dinner at Waihi Beach, "The Secret Garden", and Breakfast at a Deli, so food is easy to get. The location for "Lazy Daze" is lovely and quiet, clean and lots of room inside, like a full apartment with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Highly recommended.」

「The view from all widows was spectacular, however there were issues with the kitchen area and bathroom. The main concern was that the drain from the shower was extremely slow so after every use the bathroom floor needed to be mopped up. The problem was exacerbated because the mop heads provided were not functional.
