The motel was very comfortable, very quiet with a busy road nearby. Very handy to the township and venue i visited during my stay. Place was clean and used towels changed daily. My dislikes was only the tobacco smoke permeating through my open door whilst enjoying the cool whanganui breeze.

The facilities in the unit were all ok. I did find it hard to contact the manager. He lost a customer who wanted to stay but the office was closed and there was no response from the manager. I did appreciate my 4 night stay.

Good location, however stairs to the decking could have been repaired they weren’t so safe and four had no slip resistant like the others bit dangerous. The overall property was good however their service of house keeping was very lacking it looked like nothing cleaned just the beds made and not that well either. Crumbs on the floor not removed our entire stay from day one where friend accidentally spilt in first day of our stay

We stayed for 5 nights with our biys who are 6 and 8. Everything that we needed was there. Our room was serviced every day. There were DVDs that we could use to finish off a busy day. It is so close to town. We highly recommend this place.

Adequate for a short stay in Whanganui

Although the motel is generally looking rather tired, we had everything we needed for our stay. The bed is comfortable, the shower is superb, but the couch is too soft and not good for your posture or comfort. With a little work, both inside and outside this motel could be great

One of the VERY few place we have visited that have really thought about the room and functionality. really nice place to stay, mostly sound proof walls, could barely hear the baby crying next door,comfy bed, more than usual in the way of appliances, heating/cooling and kitchen equipment. plus REAL milk and no little packets of soap/shampoo-seemed eco conscious. :) I would recommend fixed the steps up to the rooms as seems unsafe.

Very basic room. Staff were accomodating with late check in. Big sign out the front saying rooms $105 a night... We were charged $175. Seems we overpaid with our bargain check in?!?
