"A great experience for us staying in a houseboat at Island harbour, a tranquil area of the Isle of Wight, makes for a relaxing stay but in easy reach of the rest of the Island. On one of our days there we had friends over for dinner and due to the sunny positioning of the bi-fold doors, we could open these to the full extent, sit out and enjoy the afternoon sunshine. "Hotel is a bit tired. One lift out of order made the other two very busy at times. In our room, the light when you entered the room wasn't working and no matter what we did with the heating controls the room never seemed to warm up. The shower control was very stiff to turn off. Lots of mould around the window reveals. In the glazed area where the bar was, you can see where some panes have leaked and there is corrosion and paint peeling. Staff were friendly."
