A lovely, cosy cottage in a great location.
A lovely, cosy cottage in a great location. The floors are very uneven which take a little getting used to. The bathroom is on the same floor as the kitchen but is very well appointed and warm with under floor heating. The kitchen was well equipped and had sharp knives which, as a couple who like to cook, is usually a rarity. The shower was good and the bed comfortable but sloped a little due to the floor, so we had to put a book under it. Bars and cafes very nearby and parking was just up the road with a permit provided. Recommended.

Comfortable cottage and well equipped with views of the abbey. Uneven floors and steep, narrow stairs mean that it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. Disappointed that a simple maintenance request wasn’t actioned.
