This converted stable building is one of two in a stunning village, boasting open views of rolling hills. Aislaby is a small village with a traditional pub where you can stroll for an evening meal or lunch after a hike through the countryside. Situated in the heart of the North York Moors, you’ll never be short of routes to explore within a short distance of the property. Plot a hike around Glaisdale (6 miles), Egton Bridge (4.5 miles), and Grosmont (4.5 miles) to admire the spectacular scenery of the Esk Valley or jump on your bike for the chance to cycle a portion of the 150-mile Moor to Sea Cycle Network that the national park is well-known for. Spend time in Whitby (3.5 miles) or Robin Hood’s Bay (8 miles) to get your fix of sand and sea.
Enter the cottage and be greeted with a beautiful view of the valley from the lounge window. The lounge has been beautifully furnished and features exposed wooden ceiling beams. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped and has a large dining table where you can enjoy meals with your group. You can access the front of the property and enjoy a sundowner on the small, decked terrace outside. Spend time in the lounge admiring the view, listening to music or watching TV. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, a double room with an en-suite shower and WC, further double, bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC, and a double room on the first floor, offering beautiful views of the countryside.
On sunny days, make the most of the shared, enclosed courtyard garden, where you can enjoy a BBQ or simply lounge on the sun beds. Guests are also welcome to explore the owners' fields down to the meadow, perfect for a scenic picnic among wildlife.
