「It’s a pleasant experience to stay in this B & B. The host Tom is very friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated bedroom with everything I need. There’s a kettle and a few types of tea inside the room, and the breakfast is more than good enough for me. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Knighton. It’s just a small town and so it’s within walking distance to all main attractions.」

「For what you pay, this is an excellent place to stay when visiting Hereford, but it is really a room only property. It is situated a couple of miles outside Hereford, in a quiet countryside setting, so is nice to unwind at. There is a continental breakfast available for only £5, but this could not be booked through the Expedia site. 「The photos of this property are completely misleading, as in reality it is very very different! The room was small, nowhere to put anything, the en-suite was tatty with broken shelf over sink, dirty mirror and a shower that was pretty poor! The room was cold & uninviting! Other parts of the property were full of clutter & just looked uncared for and needs a complete overhaul. I can’t believe we paid good money to stay here!! 」

「Lovely period gastopub right on the river Lugg. Lovely light and fresh accommodation. Food all delicious with a great selection. Their eco wellness spa facilities was a real treat to hire as well, a gorgeous spot to relax in. My wife loved her massage with Charlene as well. Definitely recommend」

「Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms with good ensuite facilities at a great price. Restaurant has excellent dishes at good prices and the bar serves a good range of drinks again at good prices. A Continental Breakfast is included and there is no cooked breakfast option. The only drawback is the lack of a lift and one or two floors are a bit unveven but to be expected at over 400 years old. 」

「This hotel provided a reasonably sized and comfortable room. The bathroom, although a bit small, was well-organized, making it convenient for guests. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options. However, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that persisted throughout our entire stay of six days. I suspect it was coming from the shower curtain fabric or the sewer line. Additionally, the bathtowels were not made of cotton.」

「The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near.」

「Extremely disappointed - spa and pool closed due to building work, not clearly stated on Expedia. Specifically booked for these facilities after a very long drive. Hotel needed updating and didn’t feel immaculately clean. Front desk was a mess. Paid £144 for one night in a room that felt like a Premier Inn room with a fridge added. Stains on carpet, no pictures or nice touches apart from robes and slippers. Sofabed looked tired and old. Cooked breakfast was good but continental had only mandarin...
