Roaches & Expensive Cleaning Fee

In order of importance: #1. We encountered 3 roaches and they were pretty big ones. I took pics but VRBO doesn't allow posting pics in reviews on the app. We likely brought a 4th one home. 1 day after returning from our trip we saw a roach. Roaches in my home is a very rare occurrence. #2. The cleaning fee was almost twice the cost of the actual rental. I've never paid as much for the cleaning fee and still, we left the property cleaner than when we arrived (we killed the roaches)! #3. The check-in process a bear! My payment upon registration went through and I reached out to Vacasa to confirm that everything was good including payment, but when I later realized that I didn't have the door code, email because Vacasa wanted to verify my identity. #4. There was no access to WiFi. I txt back and forth with the property manager on gaining access since there was a router present, but the manager wasn't able to provide the WiFi passcode. #5. The Villages is a very nice neighborhood and everyone's outside appearance is well kept. Even the other rentals. This property stood out.

Great time in The Villages

This is our second visit to this property. Very nice 3 bed 2 bath with a golf cart. Can't get much closer to Bownwood Square where the restaurants, live music, and all the shops are located. We will return again next year!

Size and location was perfect for us. Home was clean, nothing in disrepair. Contact person responded to a question almost instantaneously even though it was late on a Saturday night. Golf cart was an enjoyable bonus! We would definitely return for a stay in the future.
