Cozy, lovely ground level room in the gated "Kingsmill on the James" built by and nextdoor to Busch Gardens and only 4.5 miles to Colonial Williamsburg! (not part of Kingsmill Resort but Kingsmill Spa available with your stay!)
On street by tennis, lake and the famous River golf Course across the street, within walking distance of the marina beach where you can watch the summer Busch Gardens fireworks. Like a hotel room with own private entrance, own HVAC system and large sliding glass door opens onto your own deck with beautiful sunsets overlooking lovely tennis greenbelt surrounded by evergreens and woods where we've sighted bunnies, deer, squirrels, groundhogs, wild turkeys, gophers, ospreys. All single rooms in Kingsmill have adjoining suites available (see larger listing) with two locking doors between them (if guests are in the adjoining room, you may hear them). This is a lovely ground level room with no one above you, and no other unit attached to the back, surrounded by greenbelt, it's very peaceful being in a gorgeous bird preserve with your own deck for watching beautiful sunsets with nature surrounding you!
Walk to the Spa for pampering, the Mill Cafe for morning coffee and pastries on the lovely outdoor terrace or later for sandwiches during the day. Swim or sunbathe at our own private beach (restroom and shower in the marina building)....The room offers a mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker with a variety of coffees, microwave (not a kitchen) and many streaming services. Over 7 miles of walking and biking trails, historic sites, Audubon bird sanctuary, a nature lover's paradise. Visit the historic beach village at Yorktown where Washington won our independence, take the ferry to Historic Surry and dine at the famous Surry Seafood restaurant on the water or just spend a day following the Williamsburg Tasting Trail or try your luck at Colonial Downs Racetrack and Casino!
