The plumbing in the bathroom was terrible. The sink handles were loose and misaligned. The tub water control handle was missing and the toilet chain kept falling off. The beds were squeaky and the mattresses were very hard. And, to top it off, it appeared that very little dusting had been done in our room. This was a disappointing stay.

Older strip type motel. That said room was clean and bed was comfortable. It was good for a couple of days that I stayed. No breakfast available at motel though they did give me a discount coupon to bar/resturant next door.

They canceled my stay due to alleged electrical issues. Saw a full lot n there the next morning. My stay would have been $260 for two nights. I was referred to two places about 15 miles v away. One was $650 and the other over $800. I remain suspicious of the situation.

Stayed here to hike around the area, and this motel was exactly what i wanted - pet friendly, affordable, simple, 10minutes from trailheads, and nice staff.

I booked this motel for the amenities: spa, pool, pond, but all I saw was broken down pool. As soon as I opened the door to rm 110 it stank of mildew. It was cold at night so tried the heat but it was not working! I asked for another room with heat but they were booked. They gave me a room heater and it worked well. Then I realized the following. My room was clean but in terrible shape: dark, no heat! First night was cold. Old A/C, which was using unsafe electrical strip. Sink hardly drained, same with tub. Toilet didn’t flush well. The grounds were in terrible disrepair.

Great time

Loved the spacious room, King bed was very comfortable and enjoyed the relaxing jetted tub. The restaurant has excellent food and service. Enjoyed sitting outside near the creek and at the fire pit in the evening.

We were disappointed that this "Inn" is really an older motel, run together with another older motel across the highway and a converted barn/restaurant. We should have read the descriptions and reviews more carefully. On return, after checking the listing, it was perfectly clear. Note: If you want an Inn experience, the converted barn seems to be the place to stay. On the positive, the room was quiet, the beds comfortable and everything was clear although very well worn. The 1896 restaurant was very nice and an easy walk from our 'streamside' motel room. Parking was easy and right outside the room, as motels usually are. There were two nice rockers on the covered porch also right outside the door. Less positive, the office was rarely staffed, in two days we had to wait for someone to return 'from working around the property' all three times we went to the office...including at check in. The ice machine didn't work. The heat didn't work (but the office provided a space heater that was quite adequate).

Charming vintage roadside motel!

Charming vintage roadside motel! Clean and comfortable with original features like gingham cloth wallpaper and cool pine chairs. This is not a greige corporate chain place! Staff were all really nice, shower was hot with good water pressure. The restaurant had good food and friendly service. A pleasant stop in Williamstown!

Lovely inn and great restaurant!

The room was pleasant and the grounds were nice. Nothing in disrepair. The ‘6 Restaurant was wonderful-our waitress was fabulous, decor was lovely and the prices were quite reasonable. A definite “thumbs up” and sure to return.
