Come hideaway in our country retreat in the middle of 14 acres of wooded peacefulness. Enjoy wildlife from a window or from one of two decks while you are still located close to tourist attractions like Strasburg Railroad and minutes from the oldest, continuing farmers' market, Central Market and numerous hiking trails at state parks or conservancies.
Our family has lived here for twenty years and we would love to share it with visitors. Whether you're a history buff, a adventurer, a shopper, or you're just looking for a little time to rest and restore yourself, our slice of nature is the perfect place to relax.

Note: there is a doorbell camera at the front door.

Great place!
This was a gem of a place to stay while my friend and I worked the 2024 US Women’s Open golf tournament! All the amenities you could want! I especially enjoyed the Java! The host is very gracious and answered my questions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this place! And we did get to see two deer roaming the yard last night!

Thoughtful owners, cabin in the woods, a few bugs
Overall, we had a great stay! The house was clean, with the exception of a few bug intruders that might just be unavoidable with such a great wooded location. The solo stove provided made for a great opportunity to make s'mores and enjoy a fire outdoors one evening. The beds were comfortable, and the pull-out sofa bed allowed the 5 of us to stay comfortably. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner were all provided. The showers were all the smaller side, but the listing informed us there would be no bathtub, so we were prepared for that. Check-in and check-out were both very easy with the code provided for the door. It was everything we needed for our stay. Temperature control and lights were easy. The windows and views of the trees were lovely. Glad we stayed here!

Beautiful wooded paradise
We loved Pennsy Ridge Hideaway! The hot tub was great way to relax after day trips to Hershey, Gettysburg and Sight and Sound. The kitchen was fully equipped and the washer and dryer looked brand new. Hiking around the property with our boys was fun on the low key days.
