The hotel was okay overall but definitely needs a refresh. Amenities were missing in our room and we had to keep calling the front desk to have them brought up.

Comfort Inn University
Good location with numerous restaurants and shopping nearby. 15 minutes to the Riverwalk Historic District. Very good free breakfast. Plenty of free, safe parking. 15 minute drive to the North Carolina Battleship exhibit. Easy check- in with caring staff.

Parking was tight, but there is an overflow lot a half block or so away. We never needed that.
